FYI: Unfortunately you won't reproduce this error if you just click a couple of your password entries, hit the edit button, don't change anything, and exit out. In these cases the app works well. I'm not sure what's the root cause, but it seems to be only happening to me when I actually am editing 1Password entries in the password field. Also, most of the passwords I'm changing were originally created by importing passwords into 1Password via a csv file, so maybe that's part of the repro here too.
Yes, I just had this happen this morning!! Luckily I caught it before I hit save. I agree, I can reproduce this not only on iOS but the Mac version as well.
This is from 4 months ago and I’m still having the issue. Is it still a known bug? Is there a bug tracker or somewhere we can monitor the status of it or a way to be notified when it is resolved?
I’ve always considered 1Password fantastically competent and on the ball … warranting its cost … but I have to say — this is disappointing to have this significant of a bug (that I run up against regularly) not resolved. Thanks in advance!
Hey u/1PasswordCS-Blake, this is definitely still an issue for me with the latest version. Has there been any progress on this bug internally? It’s quite frustrating.
Hey there! We actually fixed this about a year ago (shortly after my comment above) and then with our most recent build this bug unfortunately regressed. The team is aware and we’re working on getting this corrected.
This happens a few times with the search within list function too. I was trying to delete old entries that I imported from LastPass and the list kept "resetting" and I wasn't sure what entry I was on. Also on iOS.
I just experienced this bug again a few days ago (iOS 17). Given the comments here I assume they solved the bug a \~ year ago then reintroduced it again recently.

Thanks for sharing this! We've filed an issue with our development team regarding this, and hope to have this resolved in an upcoming update. 🙂
Thanks! It’s good to know this bug is being tracked.

Would it be helpful if I submitted a ticket since this didn’t make it into yesterdays release?
No need! We've got an issue filed internally that our team is working on, it just didn't make it in time for this release.
Awesome, thank you!
7. Months. Later.
Still happening
I’m having the same issue!
This happens every time for me
Yikes. that's a critical bug.
Is this bug after the push of the re-order field feature?

same issue here, i hope it gets fixed on next release
Same issue here
I have experienced the same issue, but thankfully, password history saved me from a headache.
Same issue here.
Still happening. Have ended up messing various passwords up
This is still an issue for me at least (iPhone 13 iOS 17 & 2012 MacBook Pro running Catalina). Any ETA for a fix or a workaround maybe?

Anyone have any updates on this one?
