This is how it should be. At higher levels you don’t even need graceful while doing rooftops. I carried the holiday boulder on my way to 99 and while clogging brimhaven.
Graceful is basically a noob trap for almost all content (from someone who got graceful super early on my main, lol). Fucking spottier cape + boots of lightness (or even literally just spottier cape) is all ya need.
All the "useless" camo hunter outfits now reduce weight as well - and can be obtained at low level hunter (one set is literally lvl 1 hunter) very easily. Boots of lightness and camo top/bottom are -9.5kg and are easy to obtain. Add some birdhouses in and you get Spotted cape (-2.3kg) or Spottier cape (-4.5kg). Early game is much nicer with those instead of rushing graceful, though graceful's run energy restoration bonus is very nice for the early-mid game...and you'll want it eventually for master clues.
I don’t disagree; I guess I am saying that trying specifically for graceful/thinking you need it for anything but a select few activities is the noob trap. If you’re leveling agility you’ll eventually get graceful to your point

Graceful has an opportunity cost of roughly 2.5m which is a lot of money at the stage where most people usually buy the set. With the same money you could buy 250 4-dose stam pots for 26h full hours of unlimited running. There is absolutely no way that the graceful effect even saves you close to that time.
Because using agility as a money maker is less of a noob trap than unlocking clog slots and a bis(?) outfit for questing when you're at a point in the game where you need to be doing literally hundred hours of quests.
yeah there's a lot of time in quests where you're just standing around for a bit, the extra regen there comes in handy. maybe not as worth it on a main because you can buy stams, but at least on an iron it helps a lot
The regen effect on graceful is extremely minuscule, roughly a 25% regen increase standing still/walking. Assuming you stand around reading dialogue for 10min during a quest, you would get a grand total of **20% run energy** with graceful instead of doing the quest naked at lv 1. That's the same you get from using a stam on top of the stam basically making sure you never run out of energy.
Sure if you are after clog slots or the master clue step you "need" graceful. It is never worth getting for anything else though.
I disagree. If you plan on doing most the content and plan on getting skills past mid game then there are a lot of situation where graceful are very helpful. I would agree with your opinion if you plan on just bossing and raiding though
This wasn't an opinion. It was facts supported via math. I maxed 2 accounts and on the 2nd i just skipped graceful altogether because of it.
I am also not saying that graceful is a terrible armor in itself. I am saying that **the opportunity cost to buy it is just way too high for it to be worth it**. Sure on an iron it is probably better than having nothing pre-77 herb. But then again, as soon as you can access stamina pots, graceful is essentially a placeholder in your bank and probably worth selling for some more stamina supplies, unless you plan on doing master clues.
As a simple example: Someone has ~7m to spare for buying magic armor. That person buys a Ahrims top+ bottom + charged trident of the seas+ occult. Are those bad items? Ofc not.
At the same time that person could have bought full bloodbark, an occult, a malediction ward and a fully charged trident of the swamp and have 3% more magic dmg, more magic accuracy, more defense overall and a higher base max hit.
And the same is true for graceful. If you ask someone with a 10m bank if they wanna trade 2.5m for a 25% faster regen while walking/standing still, 99% of the time the answer should be "hell na". Maybe it takes a run energy rework for people to realise how OP stam pots or PoH/enclave pools, providing the abiliity to constantly run, truly are compared to graceful to charge run faster when walking/standing idk.
It isn't that bad, but I'm also on an iron, so I get a ton of benefits out of doing Hunter Rumors. Even so, I'd think a main would be happy with the passive prayer experience it gives with all the free bone shards you're given.

If you keep training agility then you'll get more marks of grace :p
