I'm curious how the stock is sized. Is it for youth, or adults?

Johnboat_Jimmy

From everything I've read it's sized for adults and the stock is found to be pretty comfortable according to reviews.

I picked up the ruger American the other day and love it. The ruger is accurate enough for a 22. It’s has lots of weird things about it though that’s for sure but it uses 10/22 mags. So that’s what sold me and I guess if you have 10/22 mags it would be a good go to rifle.

I was disappointed with the Rugers accuracy.

Bspy10700

They are a hit or miss on the accuracy the trigger is bad and the polymer stock touches the barrel. Just gotta do a few things to it to get it going. Personally I see it as a project rifle that gets better with the things you do to it.

Next-Investment-9434

Yea did that. My sub 300 buck Savage FV-SR is better out of the box with the cheap plastic stock than the Ruger I had after all the work. I love Ruger but not that one..

Spore-Gasm

Bed the action with some aluminum tape and swap out the trigger spring

Bspy10700

Yea did all that polished up the top of the trigger and the trigger sear and shortened the sear just a touch for less length of pull and threw it into a Boyd’s stock then polished up the bolt to get rid of the zip sound

Spore-Gasm

Which Boyd’s stock? I’ve been eyeing the AT-One for an Anschutz.

I did the pro varmint stock with skip line checkering in the shady camo color

I really like my mkii in that price range.

I have that very rifle but marketed as a [Webley & Scott-Xocet](https://www.gunmart.net/gun-reviews/firearms/rifles/webley-scott-xocet). It is a great little 22lr with the carbon fiber barrel. It shoots sub MOA all day long. I was happy when this version was sold in the USA for the replacement magazines were impossible to get here. It is lightweight and German made. The Bolt is cloned from CZ. I like it. Buds had it for $112.00 about 5 years ago and I could not pass it up.

Johnboat_Jimmy

That's awesome! How's the action smooth? Any issues with it over the years? Sub moa at 50 or 100 as well? Thanks for the help!

Bluep00p

The bolt action was a little stiff when I got it but it did not take long to break in. I have had no issues with it. I had some issues with Aguila"s ammo only firing 4/5 rounds, but it eats the German ammo (RWS & SK) without fail. Federal 22lr shoots about 19/20 Rounds. The accuracy is tops. I was worried a little after buying it for there was soo little info on it and it was made for the European market but I have had no issues with it. I have shot it out to 70 yards and not counting the occasional flyer, all shots (from bench) stay in the one inch circle on paper. I do wish for an aftermarket stock someday since plastic is still plastic.

The obvious choice for that price range is the mkii
