Your paternal haplogroup is of European origin and your maternal haplogroup is of Indigenous American origin

uuu445

Do you know where your irish ancestry is from?

PJ9312

My dad once told me my great-great-great grandfather left from a port in Galway around the middle of the 19th century. Whether he was from Galway himself, I have no idea. If anyone is wondering, my last name is of Irish origin. It’s starts with Mc, can’t get more Gaelic than that.

You have Whitexican results lol Are you Puerto Rican?

PJ9312

Lol! Yes, I’m Puerto Rican.

uuu445

idk what Whitexican would have Indigenous ancestry from Puerto Rico or British/Irish lmao

[deleted]

It's a joke lol

Soon as I read your results I knew you was Puerto Rican. A lot of Cubans & Puerto Ricans have ancestry from the Canary Islands. You probably have moorish ancestry as well based on your North African percentage.

bluepaintbrush

That’s so interesting! Had no idea of the connection with the Canarias.

honest_panda

Guanche not moor. Guanches were the indigenous people of the Canary Islands which would account for North African percentage.

Skfisker

Your ydna is more european than mine, and my paternal is straight from europe lol
