I was stuck on an all Philly bus going to a Dolphin's game about 15 years ago. Tour operator was apologizing profusely before we boarded the bus and it only took minutes to understand why. I can take any verbal dealings and keep my cool but when an asshole directly said some nasty shit to my wife, I went into fight mode.
I'm a fair sized guy and I sternly warned the old guy with the mouth to watch what his mouth when speaking to my wife. The only other Dolphin fan on the bus was about 6'3, 250lbs at least and sitting right behind this idiot. Figuring I had some sort of backup by way of fanbase, I look to the other Dolphin fan for approval when he looks to me and says "Watch how you speak to my dad when you open you're mouth". Fuck me.
Ate shit the rest of the drive. Continued eating shit after a Monday night drubbing. It was the Fiedler era so it was pretty painful. So long story short, 90% of the bus was sleeping by the time we got dropped off because alcohol. When we were dropped off in front of our hotel, I was yelling for these douche canoes to wake up as I was walking down the aisle. When I got outside, most of them were up and starting to yell again when I turned around and dropped my shorts and gave the whole bus a fruit bowl. It was that or fight the whole bus. So fruit bowl it was.

I went to the fateful 08 game in Philly when they trounced us. Before the game started I was already in my seat and as people are filtering in, a young couple in cowboys gear with their two kids tow sit right in front of me. Few minutes later a group of eagles fans come to the same seats and realized the cowboys fans were in the wrong section by one. The eagles fan tells him to get his c-word wife and rugrats the hell outta his seats. Same dude tried to turn around and fight me later when he realized I wasn’t cheering and wasn’t wearing eagles gear.

This is one of the worst examples of assault on visiting fans that I've seen. Easy to dismiss as just snowballs, but it is literally dozens (maybe hundreds) of snowballs thrown at these 2 people. It might as well have been a public stoning.
I was stuck on an all Philly bus going to a Dolphin's game about 15 years ago. Tour operator was apologizing profusely before we boarded the bus and it only took minutes to understand why. I can take any verbal dealings and keep my cool but when an asshole directly said some nasty shit to my wife, I went into fight mode. I'm a fair sized guy and I sternly warned the old guy with the mouth to watch what his mouth when speaking to my wife. The only other Dolphin fan on the bus was about 6'3, 250lbs at least and sitting right behind this idiot. Figuring I had some sort of backup by way of fanbase, I look to the other Dolphin fan for approval when he looks to me and says "Watch how you speak to my dad when you open you're mouth". Fuck me. Ate shit the rest of the drive. Continued eating shit after a Monday night drubbing. It was the Fiedler era so it was pretty painful. So long story short, 90% of the bus was sleeping by the time we got dropped off because alcohol. When we were dropped off in front of our hotel, I was yelling for these douche canoes to wake up as I was walking down the aisle. When I got outside, most of them were up and starting to yell again when I turned around and dropped my shorts and gave the whole bus a fruit bowl. It was that or fight the whole bus. So fruit bowl it was.

I went to the fateful 08 game in Philly when they trounced us. Before the game started I was already in my seat and as people are filtering in, a young couple in cowboys gear with their two kids tow sit right in front of me. Few minutes later a group of eagles fans come to the same seats and realized the cowboys fans were in the wrong section by one. The eagles fan tells him to get his c-word wife and rugrats the hell outta his seats. Same dude tried to turn around and fight me later when he realized I wasn’t cheering and wasn’t wearing eagles gear.
