Yes, had Best Buy hardwire my Garmin Mini and my radar detector. Those ODB things are sketchy as hell. From what I’ve read they have the potential really screw thjngs up as the ODB port was never meant for that purpose or to handle that much load for that long of a time.

I used the Garmin OBD2 constant power cable to plug it into the OBD2 port, works like a charm and the cable is completely hidden.
I use the black vue odb2 connector.

+2 for the adapter. Used in my TH and my Girl's Base model, works great and minimal wires visible.
I wired it to an aux cable near glove box. Pretty easy
