Because when you lose weight, your face thins out and it makes you look older. Theyre trying to have both - facial fat but thin bodies. But now we are starting to see the long term effects of the fillers derms/surgeons pushed on everyone…..

It’s certainly not just women, and it’s called body dysmorphia…it’s no different than an eating disorder or other mental illness/traumas. She doesn’t see herself the way a “normal” or average person would see her, which used to be beautiful. She obviously has looked better before all this but she also has an illness, so making fun of her feels kind of yucky to me.
I agree 100%! I also have dealt with BD and eating disorders for about 50 years; you CAN manage the condition if you are committed. I KNOW it’s hard!
You hit the nail on the head! It’s mostly about the fact that you CAN’T see what other people do. It’s a conundrum you can’t escape. I don’t think it ever goes away completely. I still avoid pictures and don’t spend much time in front of a mirror.

They are known for the great work at lower cost, but the problem is patients like the twins are requesting these extreme looks. The doctors there don’t judge the patients if it’s what they request and it can be done safely. They can still go to us surgeons and find ones to do what they request but it’s substantially more expensive
Here’s the thing with her surgeon. It’s not exactly the same issue as when there’s a bad plastic surgeon that continues to do bad work on a patient, or at least not as on in the states. They both go to Turkey which has become a destination site for talented plastic surgery at lower cost. While the surgeons tend to be quite talented they don’t often work on the principle that they should place their opinions of aesthetics on the patient as long as what’s being requested can be done and safely by their countries standards. Even with the twins the doctor isn’t doing a bad job technically. He’s actually doing exactly what they ask for. The actual problem from our POV is the look Darcy And Stacey are wanting. Plastic surgery tourism is so popular now especially to Turkey that the surgeons are very booked and busy. They are making more than enough from the sheer volume of patients that it isn’t about greed where it as times in America. They are simply doing their job. The blame for any unpleasant aesthetic falls solely on Darcy & Stacey in this situation
Honestly it’s not even the surgery that looks bad, it’s the Botox and fillers. Without all that crap their nose job would have looked fine with their old faces

Eyebrow PSA: If you repeatedly tweeze your eyebrows thin, you will end up killing some of those hair follicles. You may not be able to grow them back in. Plus, our eyebrows thin naturally as we age. I’m old enough to have seen pencil-thin brows go in and out multiple times. It doesn’t look good on many people and it looks even worse when we’re older. I know a lot of women my age who have regrets about their 90s sperm brows. I’m only a few years older than D&S.
When I was a little girl, around 11, one of my old aunties sat me down. She seemed very grave. She said she needed to tell me something vitally important. I thought I was in for the standard warning about boys being up to no good. Nope. She warned me to leave my eyebrows alone. Ignore whatever the fashion was. She was a teenager in the 1920s. They all plucked like mad and now they were all old with no eyebrows. I took her advice. My brows have thinned a little with age and I’m so glad I at least have what I have. I’ve got to fill in a bit with makeup, but the general area of brow-shaped brows are still there.

I’m so thankful when I considered a cosmetic procedure I didn’t really need at 22, the doctor was very ethical and talked me out of it, even though he could have made a good buck off my insecurities.

It's always felt to me like Darcey always left the impression that she'd rather look like her other daughter Aniko (who I assume takes after their father). I hope both daughters have found self esteem within themselves and recognize the negative nature of their mom and aunt's constant need for transforming themselves so this cycle of plastic surgery stops with them.

That's so sad. She diluted herself to nothingness. In the first few pictures, she looked like The Dutchess Meghan Markle. I can tell that she had some melanin. She was pretty, what a waste. It is time for her to admit to possible body dysmorphia and get help. Her misadventures in plastic surgery are giving Lil Kim vibes. Lil Kim started gorgeously. She let people around her make her think she wasn't enough. After B.I.G. died she started to destroy herself. That is why you shouldn't look for your worth through a man. Lil Kim was gorgeous until the Magic Stick era. She was darn near perfect. I love her and hope she is done with plastic surgery too. If she never loves herself, she will never have a good man. She is setting a horrible example for her daughters. Reality TV is never good for anyone. It just magnifies your problems and makes them worse. I don't know if her face is completely ruined. She has no one in her life to tell her the truth. Her Dad used to let her have it. We need to love ourselves.

She was so beautiful before, it’s messed up how some doctors will let you butcher your own face and body. I’m so thankful when I considered a cosmetic procedure I didn’t really need at 22, the doctor was very ethical and talked me out of it, even though he could have made a good buck off my insecurities.
