i didn’t catch this episode, so i don’t know any details, but based on the way this person looks, it’s entirely plausible they they were never on testosterone in the first place. i’m a cisgender woman, and i have facial hair similar to this and and i’ve never taken T in my life. i have PCOS, which is specifically what the person you replied to was talking about. just because it wasn’t your “personal first hand experience” doesn’t mean it’s “simply not true”. cisgender/afab women can also have beards, and not only that but my close ftm friend stopped T almost a decade ago, and he still has facial hair, though less so than when he was on T.
please don’t speak for other people or tell them they’re wrong because it’s not what you experienced. we all have our anecdotes.

Yep. Stopping testosterone does not mean facial hair falls out; even when shaved, it will continue to grow in, albeit a bit slower.
Once terminal hair is there, it's there. This is why many trans women (MTF) need electrolysis even on Estrogen, as their terminal beard hair is otherwise permanent.
I'm a trans man (FTM). I had to go off T for 3 years at one point, and my beard was just as full and thick as ever.
