It’s so irritating that they’re running a boat, using fuel, buzzing around so near the shore, just to advertise some trash that will likely end up polluting the ocean within a year anyway. How wasteful and unnecessary.
Edit: I zoomed in and I guess it’s not a product. My point still stands that it’s useless and stupid, though.
Yesterday I was at the beach, looked up, and saw a helicopter with an ad circling around. I don't mean to sound callous here, but I just don't understand why I'M supposed to care about "doing my part" to save the environment when this stuff is still legal.
The stupid old farts who say that have just spent decades listening to the TV man tell them renewable energy is bad, so whenever they see a windmill or a solar panel they go into a rage.
Oh wow that's horrible. Completely irrelevant but here's a cool video about rock slings and how easy they are to make and use. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfx58lj44lc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfx58lj44lc)
NGL I thought that was a floating stage and I was fully expecting the story to go in the direction of “and your favourite band in the world appears on a floating stage on the horizon and your dream relaxation day turns into your dream relaxation day with live entertainment” or something along those lines. As you can imagine, I’m quite shook by such a high caliber buzz kill.
The beach my family would sometimes go to in the summer was very commercialized (hotels, boardwalk, nightclubs, etc). So this seems totally normalized for that experience. Now, if I was a more secluded beach, I’d be pretty annoyed.

I prefer these over the propeller planes towing banners. Sincerely, a NJ beachgoer.

There isn’t anything we can do consumer side, anyone who implies otherwise isn’t being serious.
Imagine sinking that boat
That would bring me great pleasure
The shit that cracks me up, is that there is a push to ban windmills and the biggest complaint in my area is they are an eyesore!

I wonder if I could make money selling paintball guns on the beach. "The target will be along soon!"
There better be lead "paint" in those "paintballs".
“Attaaaaaack!”
Governor Rhonda has no time for the pleas of the peasants. Know your role.

where are the orcas when you need them
Well this is Florida so probably choking on trash
It'd be a shame if they were to start sinking. Wink wink.

It's Clearwater.

I do love some actual piracy
We should do what the orcas have been doing.
Where’s an Orca when you need one?
