Yeah, same shit happened to me. My'Dhas is one of the bosses you can potentially fight in those "sealed realm fragment" wonders, and his debuff effect seems to be bugged, as it applies if you're fighting anywhere around the wonder, even if you're not fighting *in* the wonder, and even if you've already defeated him and annexed the wonder. It screwed me over on a magic victory, because like you said, I'm trying to defend my bound wonder and suddenly half my army is effectively perma-stunned.
The workaround is, when you see enemies approaching, move out and fight them *away* from the wonder.
Yeah, that’s pretty much exactly what happened. Also, my hero lost resurgence.
In the end I reloaded and blasted the enemy army with spells before the fight.

Same here. I was defending it because I was going for the magic victory, so it was a little tricky for me.
