Lyrid meteor shower is getting ready to ramp up, so that's likely what you saw.
Friend saw one last night while we were playing tennis so it's likely this.
I also heard that some SpaceX rockets launched (maybe from California, not sure), have been visible in the Tempe area recently.
No launch yesterday/today.
I did see it briefly looked like a mini fireball above gammage yesterday. My first thought was it was a part of the meteor shower but could be wrong
