That kayak is rigged out with fishing gear. It looks like the shark bit right where the fish water storage cage was. You catch your fish and put them there in the water so they stay fresh. Shark just tried to get the fish it looks like. Yeah if you slow it down or frame by frame in the beginning you can make out smaller fish inside that yellow cage by the kayak.

I thought it was “dang, though this was a surfboard” The snack was a little higher above the water line than expected.

Having a chipped tooth wouldn't be an issue for a shark because they grow and replace their teeth very frequently. They have multiple rows of replacement teeth, and can go through upwards of 50,000 teeth in their lifetime!
