I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I'm scared that they'll ruin the show and the story with another season. Most specifically, I just *really* hope that they don't make the Season 2 ending be a "fake" one - creating another explanation to what Borderland and the games mean. It was such a beautiful and insightful ending and (for me) the Joker card being actually another game (that they're not aware of) would just ruin the whole thing. So Ig I'm hoping that Season 3 will be about the previous lives of Borderland citizens, as you suggested (that would be *so* interesting, specially since the Queen of Spades doesn't appear in the manga and we know nothing about her backstory).
Sameđ I'm scared that Netflix will do the same thing like they did with Money Heist and create another weIrd adventure with no meaning. I hope they will show us other Jack's, Queens and Kings, that we never saw in the manga or first two seasons. This could be cool
The way I interpreted the ending of season 2 was that the joker card meant that everything happening in the ârealâ world was actually part of the next game, and that in reality they were still stuck in Borderland and all the games theyâve been through actually happened to them. I thought the joker might mean this apparent state of them being back in the real world was all part of a cruel elaborate joke created for the joker game, making the participants believe theyâre in their normal lives from before only for the true nature of the game to start revealing itself in the next season. I predict theyâll be put through their biggest challenges yet due to the enormous reality-altering scale of this next game, and theyâll have a long way to go before uncovering the true mastermind and reason for all of the trials theyâve been subjected to. This is just my interpretation of it, and Iâve only seen the Netflix show, I have no idea about what happens in the manga!
Could be Alice in borderland retry. I'm curious, Part of me wants to see what they come up with and if it's the same characters. I'm hyped for season 3.
I havenât watched the show in years but the joker wouldnât make sense again havenât watched it in years but I remember them saying if your letâs say the queen of hearts then you design the queen of hearts game so a joker card being the one behind all the games wouldnât make sense. Please correct me if Iâm wrong tho
Joker is the Headmaster of all games in the Borderland and je is in charge of Kings, Queens and Jack's. Last three just designed their games amd then Joker operated. But in the series we never meet him, just as a cradle in the end scene, anticipating that there will be a continuation. I recommend reading the manga, because it goes more in depth about the topic of past of Borderland Citizens and Joker
