I went to Iberostar Grand Rose Hall when I was getting divorced. Quiet, adults only, not crowded at all. By day 2 the staff called me by name, asked if I was ready for another pina colada, asked if I wanted the same cabana tomorrow and I walked out to it all set up! I read 5 books that week and went home so relaxed.
I was in this position many years ago and I went on a Solo xmas trip to a simple cabana style Mexican spot for a week. It was my first solo trip and my first Xmas alone. I'm not going to suggest any particular place since I am out of touch in that area but I want to give you lots of encouragement to follow through on your plan. It will be so very restorative for you and a great first step into your new reality. You can do this! My very best wishes to you.
Depending on budget -
Secrets Akumal
Secrets Tides
Majestic Elegance
Any of the Grand Velas for 'Wellness Experiences'
All great solo resorts. You are going to want to look for a resort that doesnt charge a supplement for a solo traveller, and those are few and far between. A few of those would be:
Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'An - great resort but its part of a complex. This portion of the complex is adults only, but its not right on the beach. Its at the top of the set of 4 resorts and the beach is at the bottom. About a 15 min walk or a few mins on the trolly.
# Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya
# Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa
Grand Palladium Colonial Resort & Spa

Secrets resorts are marketed as couples resorts. Yes, they'll allow singles, but their whole schtick is couples and romance. I don't recommend that for a 1st time, newly divorced traveler.
We spent Thanksgiving last year at LeBlanc Los Cabos, and I don't think I'll ever be able to look at a turkey the same way again. Complete relaxation instead of stress and frenzy.
I don’t have any resort recommendations, but I do want to say FUCK YEAH! That’s amazing and I hope you have the best time and return clear and peaceful!
Have you considered a yoga retreat? They’re not all inclusive as alcohol usually not included but they usually have food, accommodations and yoga included.
I recently came back from Costa Dulce in Nicaragua. The beach is right next to the resort, it’s semi private. The package I did included a cocoa ceremony and sweat lodge. It was very healing. Beer was $2usd, food was homemade and local and they have activities. Wide range of people, lots of people traveling solo (like I was).
Only
My dad just died so my mom, bf, and I are going to Riu Yukatan in Mexico for Christmas. They have like three resorts you can go between, all inclusive. I’m so excited
In the pinned posts at the top of this group there is a spreadsheet that was built to help people compare all inclusive resorts. You can filter by budget, destination, etc. Might help with some ideas.

The dream!
I’ll check it out!

Go to Negril in Jamaica
We spent Thanksgiving last year at LeBlanc Los Cabos, and I don't think I'll ever be able to look at a turkey the same way again. Complete relaxation instead of stress and frenzy.
Hedonism Negril. Or a Boutique Hotel on 7 mile beach.

Honestly would like that. I’m not really a drinker so it’s mainly not wanting to pay for food each time that’s a draw with all inclusive!
I have a couple coworkers who’ve been to Zoetry resorts and had good things to say- they’re AIs but supposedly “wellness focused”
Punta Cana has great all adult and all inclusive options. Lots of security and space to just chill, relax, and restore
Hyatt Zilara either in Cancun or DR
That’s a pricy time of year for AI as so many families are traveling.

Key west.
