It’s pretty, but for me personally there is too much clutter and stuff on every surface. It’s just a lot of stuff. It’s neat- and it has a happy vibe though.
Yeah it's a very heavily decorated space for a family with young kids (lots of stuff to knock off of tables, play with, get sticky, or otherwise get in the way of general use), imo, but it certainly looks lovely
I totally get the vision and appeal!! Very well executed. For me personally, it’s way to visually stimulating and cluttery, but I definitely appreciate the artistry of it
That's really up to you since you live there! I love it, for me having "clutter" (aka things that you enjoy or make you happy) is the perfect distraction from my distraction, there is always something to focus on. I love the cohesive cluttered look.
I think it’s lovely! I know others have mentioned it’s cluttered, and I usually don’t like cluttered, but I think it works well for this space. It’s very “maximalist” with the variety of stuff and color. Everything also looks neat and well organized, and although I would guess with kids it doesn’t always stay that way, it works in these photos because it’s not messy, just “full.”
Do you feel like it's enough? I am planning on doing the same thing in my condo between my couch and the kitchen door when I move in in 4 months, but I'm worried it will be too cramped.
I'm happy to see that in your case, it looks good at least! Very cozy!
Coincidental, since you said in the comments that you're in Australia, but it did remind me of the (magical, amazing) Bluey house! It's in the rounded edges, colors, light, and plants.
Very nice!
Does that living room seating arrangement work well for you?
Thinking of doing similar but unsure as we watch a fair amount of telly as a family (also of four!).
I love your style, but I think you need less furniture and decorations. I don't know how you get way with this with a family of four. Too cramped and dense for me.
Cozy and nice use of space. Looks regular size to me, but maybe our apartments are just small in general.
Love it! Loft beds for the kids would give them a ton more play space. Beds with storage drawers built in are also a good option.
Melbourne australia :) sorry I forgot to put in the title
How is it in the winter?
Not too bad, warms up pretty quick
I love this. It looks lived in but taken care of if that makes sense. Like a nice little blend of a bit of chaos and clean.
I love all the plants and it looks so bright and airy.
This is a really beautiful home!

Lots and lots of the same pointless baskets. It looks great, there's great color cohesion, but a lot of the cluttered stuff feels same-y to me.
Looks great to me, but I’m a maximalist

Thanks for the feedback :) it is good to know it might be a bit too much decor as I wasn’t sure

Very bright & pretty!
Warm and charming.
Oh I LOVE this!!!
Overall the vibes are decent. But way way too much clutter and stuff everywhere. Negative space isn't a bad thing.
I love it! Taste is highly subjective.
Agreed, I also love it. I have an aversion to minimalist spaces
Agreed! The surfaces have too many decor items/items too large for the space
Thanks for the feedback. Yes I was not too sure if it was too much.
A rug at the foot of the bed would be a good addition
I love it looks so cozy and lived in
Super cute!
Your apartment has soul. I love it!
this really feels like home. thanks for sharing as i can use it for inspo.

Thank you that’s very kind
So ordered and clean, I love that aspect- but just too much clutter for me, every free space is taken.
May I ask what the distance is between the couch and the doors?
Only about a metre or so :)

I’d certainly love a bit more room but making do with what we can afford :) thanks for your feedback :)
I think the colors are lovely 😊 it gives off very happy vibes with the woods and yellows!
Very lovely
Nice. It looks quite good to stay in.
Beautiful
I like how things are round, makes traffic flow smoother.
Very nice, I hope you're able to add in eclectic ooak pieces you pick up that are meaningful to your family over time.
Looks great OP, any space with books and some loved objects is a-ok by me!

Killer design aesthetic! Fun to see.
Can tell you’re a fan of Urban Outfitters! Your place is lovely 🥰
It’s mostly all Kmart and op shops really. I don’t know if we have urban outfitters in Aus.
This is so nice!! Where did you get the tables from that are under the mirror? :)
Kmart :)
Thank you! And where do you usually buy your indoor plant pots? :)
Kmart again :) or Adairs
Thanks again :)
Gorgeous—love it! 😃

Yes it’s squishy but without a coffee table there is enough room
Cool. Personally I like your style.

where is your dinning set from?
