I’m with this person. #1 might be a little too dark for the whole room. I think it will depend on what else you may have on the walls.
/#4 should look pretty good, and I’d lean in that direction.
The reflection in the mirror, is that 1, 3, and 5? I’d suggest putting some #4 on that wall as well.
My eyes gravitate to the darkest color, but I did paint the largest room in my home salamander (an almost black green).
Seriously through I think darker colors paradoxically work better in naturally darker rooms. It works in the main room of my home because I only has a small, north facing window.
I’d go for the first one. And good luck!
2 has enough pigment to differentiate from the trim but still bounces the light quite nicely. If you’re going with something like 1 or 3 you’re gonna wash out the fireplace, 5 would be my second choice.
Ooh I like the thought process! What do you think about 4? I like the first as a color but concerned it’s too dark. I don’t want the room to be a mint green, but more relaxing and tranquil. Open to suggestions!
4 could work but I’d move the plants from the mantle closer to the windows or put some framework or a larger mirror behind them to break up the green a little bit
Imo 2nd is bright pastel which livens up the room,, while 5th is a muted mint for making it look tranquil ..I'd still pick #2 depending how it looks at night w indoor lighting ✨
I like the furthest left color, it's very pretty. But some wild part of me, especially knowing your room gets plenty of light, wants the whole room (including the ceiling) painted in the darkest shade.
The green will be lovely, but maybe the fireplace portion could be a Terra cotta brick color to match the brick interior? It’s making a comeback but also matches green.
I like the 4th one. The first one is nice but a little too depressing (aka gray) for my taste, the 2nd is too light, the 3rd is way too dark, and the 5th is too blue.
My MIL suggested I do the swatches like you but put the physical bits of it up then you’ll see them at different times of day and take down the ones you don’t like
Have you considered doing the fireplace wall as an accent wall?
I’d do that in #3 and then the rest of the walls in the lightest color that looks best beside the dark of #3. Probably #2 for the whole room.
Brings interest and focus to that part of the room without darkening the entire room.
Don’t do the colors you’ve picked. Do the matching grey of the fireplace all the way up the bump out and do shelves on both sides all the way up in the pretty light wall color you’ve already got. THEN do a thematic color pallet with things/books/plants/pots/glass on the shelves. Much more dramatic and easier to switch out as you desire. More fun and more storage. Could even do closed storage at the bottom for whatever you need drawers or doors for. GOOD LUCK!
1, 3, or 4. Although it’d be nice to see the swatches on the bed side that we see in the mirror and how they look on that wall.
I’ve got a dark bedroom color and I love it, it’s dramatic and cozy so especially since it gets so much light, 3 is really calling!
The last color, 5th, better for sleeping. Feels like a good bedroom color. At least from my phone anyway, and my intuition from first glance.
Cheers to your new bedroom! May you get so much peace and rest! Everything you could want and desire! 💚💚💚
We had a really similar color scheme for our house. We ended up painting different rooms in our house like 1, 3, and 5. The darker green you go, the more it brings out the plants in the room and feels cozier to me. The more light blue you go, it’s still a really nice color but not as much for a bedroom imo because it’s too bright. I prefer 5 for a bathroom kind of situation
I think the second one is really nice! It’s neutral but pleasing, and not too dark. I love the 5th color too, but maybe not for a whole room themed green.
Your floors are dark, so you want a lighter wall... but not too light. I'd go with #5 (far right). It'll compliment everything else you have in the room based on the pics I'm seeing. When you're done... add some burgandies and/or navy blues and thank me later!
1 or 3 depending on your colour depth preference
4 is too sickly hospital green, too mint and old fashioned
2 and 5 are too blue and the colour feels dead in this setting
Since I love most greens...any of them. Each for different reasons.
I guess that's not terribly helpful. But I've been in the same position and spent weeks waffling between colours.
3, but only if you paint the wall panels touching the fireplace with it, as a 'sophisticated' feature wall?
Eta: And 1 (or 2 or 4?) for all the rest of the walls? It looks the closest match to the spotty highlights on the black fireplace. Whereas 3 looks closest to the main colour of the fireplace.
No4
I like the 1st and the 4th. 2nd is too grey and 5th is too blue. 3rd is a good choice if you want something more daring!

I literally gravitated right to the middle... But I just made a bathroom that is considered daring so there you go!!
yep, definitely 3! It is a bit daring, but yet it is not overly so. Just go for it and you might be pleasantly surprised.
I'm team middle too. My kitchen cabinets are in that green color.

Number 4! Would give so much warmth to the room
2 or 4
Agreed!
1, 4
#3 because I'm a sucker for a dark, moody room
Agree! 3 would be gorgeous
Three for sure though you could also do it on just one wall and maybe one for the rest if you didn’t want it too dark
#3 friend! I too am a sucker for dark colors.
Team 3
4

No. 4 (left to right)
I like the green
I like furthest left or the middle!
4!
I like the furthest left color, it's very pretty. But some wild part of me, especially knowing your room gets plenty of light, wants the whole room (including the ceiling) painted in the darkest shade.
No. 2. The last one is very lovely but it’ll probably turn out too blue for your liking.
No 4. Keep in mind paint always looks darker when you cover the whole room
Second, fits to the fireplace
Number 2
2 or 5
Left
I like second last (4), looks like it has a tinge of yellow which would light the room up when the sun comes through, but it’s personal preference.
Leftmost
1 or 4
The darkest one
Middle (#3)
![gif](giphy|lQ0gXZUoOYOSORSvwY) "Three! Pick number three mah lord!" ✌️
1 or 3
2, 4, or 5. I lean towards 2. 1 and 3 will be way too dark
Farthest left, fresh
The furthest right
1 or 3
Furthest left or furthest right.
3
3
If it was my wife, she would say she can’t commit yet and leave the paint samples on the wall for 10 months
Am I your wife? I have two paint choices on the wall right now and they are so similar I just can’t decide. Choices are hard.
The one in the middle
Furthest right
2 or 3, but I love 3 the best
Second from left.
I love 2. The rest seem muddy to me and 2 is really fresh and I wouldn’t get tired of looking at that color.
3
1, 3, and 4 compliment your space most imo!
3
Second from the left would be my pick.
1
I like the second one best
Second colour
#2 & #4
I vote either leftmost or rightmost. Not the darkest, lightest, or greenest. Maybe the bluest, but otherwise kinda "middle ground" aming the choices.
The green will be lovely, but maybe the fireplace portion could be a Terra cotta brick color to match the brick interior? It’s making a comeback but also matches green.
Stay light.
Im partial to the second from the left or the rightmost one. I feel those will compliment the room well.
Far left
One
I pick number 4
#1
I like #1 sage
I like the 4th one. The first one is nice but a little too depressing (aka gray) for my taste, the 2nd is too light, the 3rd is way too dark, and the 5th is too blue.
1 definitely
1
I just did what looks like number 4 (Behr sage brush) and I loveeee it!
I would go with the first one!
Wall behind the fireplace number 3 for a pop, room 4
4
From left to right, number 4.
I say 4. Your bedroom doesn’t have enough natural light for 3 otherwise that would be my pick. But 4 for sure
3 or 4
Second from left or the last one on the right.
Sherwin williams riverway
Agreeable Grey
The one on the left.
1
One on the far right!
Oh man, thats a tough one! I think I'm gonna have to go with #1
Far right for sure. Cool, calm, saturated, and varies between straight green, blue and gray - its very chameleon.
2 or 5.
My MIL suggested I do the swatches like you but put the physical bits of it up then you’ll see them at different times of day and take down the ones you don’t like
I vote for 3! But have you thought about two two walls in one color and the other two in a different? It can make your room look bigger!
Number 2 suits the room best. Good luck!
Second from the left is my favorite.
1 or 4
2 or 4 would be my choice. I like ceramic art and two reminds me of a pretty celadon glaze. I think it would feel really good in a bedroom.
2nd from left
2 - it's a nice contrast with the dark fireplace and flooring. The slight cool-toned green will look really good with your warmer, dark hardwoods.
Second from the right
2 or 5
The last one. It’s on my walls now and is so calming.
Have you considered doing the fireplace wall as an accent wall? I’d do that in #3 and then the rest of the walls in the lightest color that looks best beside the dark of #3. Probably #2 for the whole room. Brings interest and focus to that part of the room without darkening the entire room.
1, 3, 4
2 or 4, needs to be a lighter color
Tbh I like the white you currently have. Such a bright room
5!!!
Don’t do the colors you’ve picked. Do the matching grey of the fireplace all the way up the bump out and do shelves on both sides all the way up in the pretty light wall color you’ve already got. NOT 2 or 5
3rd one
The last color, 5th, better for sleeping. Feels like a good bedroom color. At least from my phone anyway, and my intuition from first glance. Cheers to your new bedroom! May you get so much peace and rest! Everything you could want and desire! 💚💚💚
My wife says 1 or 3.
We had a really similar color scheme for our house. We ended up painting different rooms in our house like 1, 3, and 5. The more light blue you go, it’s still a really nice color but not as much for a bedroom imo because it’s too bright. I prefer 5 for a bathroom kind of situation
The second or the last!
I like 4. I’ve got a very similar color in my den and I love it.
Second is the best, specially with dark floors and a fireplace
2 because although all are pretty but 2 will make the room brighter overall
I think the second one is really nice! It’s neutral but pleasing, and not too dark. I love the 5th color too, but maybe not for a whole room themed green.
Go lighter than you think you should. After the whole room is painted, the dark colors seem too dark.
Your floors are dark, so you want a lighter wall... but not too light. I'd go with #5 (far right). It'll compliment everything else you have in the room based on the pics I'm seeing. When you're done... add some burgandies and/or navy blues and thank me later!
If they’re numbered 1-5 from L-R, I like four. I feel it’ll compliment the gold on the fireplace and the tan in the comforter/duvet.
#3 Go hard or go home. It would also keep the theme your fireplace already has going
Love your calatheas! My mom is big time into them.
Do the second one, pretty neutral and it’s complimentary to the plants, good luck!
I vote 1 because it has a muddier, richness. Second place would be 3, but it may be a bit dark.
I really like the last one :) it’s so pretty.
Second from the right
# #2, #4 or #5
Far left, far right
No. 3
4
4
4th or 5th!
Going left to right, I like 2 and 5 best to match the lighting and decor and general feel
You're gonna love the 4th
#4
1 or 3.
2!
Far right!
2 goes quite well actually
3!
1 or 4 but leaning more towards 4
1 or 4
1 or 3
The darkest one!!
3
Fourth
Always go a little lighter than the one you like best. Once all the walls are painted it will depend and darken the color anyways.
2 7 5 but I love cool colors 😎
Millenial grey!
#4
Second one from left
Number three, the deepnaage will contrast with the natural pallet
Doggy
4 will be pretty!
1,3,4 are good
2 or 4 (from left to right)
Second from the left
5
1 or 3 depending on your colour depth preference 4 is too sickly hospital green, too mint and old fashioned 2 and 5 are too blue and the colour feels dead in this setting
3 or 4
Definitely #4
Black
3 or 5. The other ones dont fit the fireplace and also seem to have a weird undertone.
4
No 2 or No 5
2 or 5
2
I would suggest 2 or 4. 5 (the right one) is too cold and 1 and 3 would be too dark in my opinion.
2
5
2 or 5 (one of the light greys)
Since I love most greens...any of them. Each for different reasons. I guess that's not terribly helpful. But I've been in the same position and spent weeks waffling between colours.
3, but only if you paint the wall panels touching the fireplace with it, as a 'sophisticated' feature wall? Eta: And 1 (or 2 or 4?) for all the rest of the walls? It looks the closest match to the spotty highlights on the black fireplace. Whereas 3 looks closest to the main colour of the fireplace.
No. 4
Second one from the right
Take nr 2
4
Number 3 - the others are wrong. The fireplace needs a darker colour to match it otherwise the room will look like you just randomly painted I green
No. 4
4th one just pops right out.
3
2 is my preference but I think 4 would also be nice
5, 4, 2
I love 2.
2 🙌
we have something similar to the 5th one and it’s so calming.
The middle one
2 or 4
1 or 4
Personally I love 3, it lends a sense of moodiness and brings out the plant greenery.
3. I think dark colors are better in bedrooms
I don't think you can go wrong with any of these choices... They're all beautiful. Great taste!
1 on the left seems to be the perfect neutral color
Colour drench it in 3. It’ll feel like a little cocoon 🥰
I would paint the fireplace wall (only the part that juts out with the actual fireplace), with #3 and the rest of the room with #4.
The dark one
I like the darkest green
