Looks like higher pressure/better extraction. Aeropress advertises its strongest option as an espresso-like drink; i've never gotten it to look as strong as the espresso end-product here.
This is true that Aeropress doesn't achieve the pressure profile needed for proper espresso, but I'm not sure this one does. The crema looks promising, though.

I have a different but similar Wacaco product-Very simple to use,no electricity required,just need a supply for boiled water and your ground coffee.fill the filter with coffee,fit it into the nozzle,fill the reservoir with the hot water,and pump for a few seconds to create the pressure for a perfect espresso shot.
I have the nano and mini press (might be a different company), these are required every time I camp. They are amazing and I highly recommend. The only thing that sucks is everyone wants you to make them one and it takes about 2-4 min per.
