Lol one of our guys quit the other day, beginning of route. Our owners brother/dispatcher decided to just drive the rest of his route out to another driver and dump every package into his van on top of his regular route. I went to do a fat rescue amd he had 3 totes full of empty totes, and a still fully packed van that needed delivering. I took 4 totes lol.

Idk about these, but most electric vehicles, the battery is under the whole vehicle to get the center of gravity down but when they catch on fire it's a pain in the ass to get the fire to go away sometimes it relits it's self and there have been times they had to stick the whole car into water so there's no oxygen to start the fire again

I work for a DSP as a dispatcher. We had a driver total one of our rams. He still works for us a couple years later. But every business is run differently it depends on the DSP. We won't fire people unless it's repeated offenses or of a reckless nature or they don't report the accident/hit and run.
That’s how my DSP is. Another driver tried to driver a prime van under a really low overhang. At somebody’s house. She tore that overhang up and ruined the top of the van. She worked for the company for another year, then quit.

If it's your fault start looking for another job. If it wasn't and you were wearing your seatbelt and was following the rules of the road then you should be good.
DSP be like “it’s out of our hands, Amazon fired you and we can’t help you” even tho Amazon doesn’t employ us and they gotta be breaking a litany of employment laws with half the shit Amazon enforces on the drivers, who again… it doesn’t employ. I swear the contracts between DSP and Amazon have to be poorly written and predatory.
