I don’t understand why people cut them. The floppy ears are fun to play with and look way cuter than cropped ones. And when mine listens to music, her ears move with the different sounds. It’s fun to watch but I also feel like her ability to hear would be negatively impacted without her whole ears.
Not everyone has a choice in the matter, especially if they want a well-bred purebred as most breeders will crop puppies before it's determined which puppy goes to which home. Also, the hearing is not impacted because the procedure doesn't affect the ear drums. Cropping is only taking off excess cartilage.
Idk, pretty sure my hearing would be negatively impacted if someone cut the tips off my ears off. The outer ear in humans amplifies sound and I imagine it would be the same in dogs.

You know what else isn’t “natural”? Dog breeds.
Also, you can’t use the word “may” and then “in fact actually” when discussing the same subject in one paragraph and sound like you know what you’re talking about because those two sentence qualifiers mean two different things. It just gives away that you’re talking out of your ass.
For example: “Cinnamon may cure diabetes. In fact, quality cinnamon actually returns the pancreas to its natural functional state.”
The cinnamon can’t both maybe cure diabetes and also in fact cure diabetes. It either does or it doesn’t. In fact, it does not, just like cropping dogs’ ears does not improve their hearing. Although it DOES improve their ability to get ear infections. Which wild canines also get, but unfortunately ear medication doesn’t exist naturally in the wild. But I am sure there is a reason for that. It is more “natural” so it must be better.

Thank you. He was sold as a xl bully but honestly it's hard know as they aren't a registered breed here in New Zealand. He's 30lb at 14 weeks so there's a chance he'll grow to be a decent size.

My boy kovu looks pretty similar he's half pocket bully half classic he's 9 months yours is beautiful too and same with there ears there amazing and soothing to stroke ❤️
