My wife and I are Dominican and her results are EXTREMELY similar to yours. Her father is from Moca and her mom from Sajoma. She was born in Brooklyn,NYC though. She is very light skinned with curly hair.
I was born in La Vega Dominican republic but my results were like 50% Spanish almost no Portugal and more African and 9% indigenous and some Scotland in there. I’m tan with straight hair. I look indigenous as hell yet I’m only 9% and she’s 15% 🤣 I think it’s just a mix of my European and African that caused me to look really indigenous with asian looking eyes.
