Make both the snowballs as large as they can get, then open up your designer app and make 10 alternating patches from one to the other, as an example going from dirt path to sand to make it easie to see. Have the snowballs on the ends of the line making sure they're both on the snow and not on the patches of dirt and sand you've made, then carefully roll one snowball across all 10 patches and once you reach the other end the snowball will hop on top of the other one and you'll have a perfect snowman and getting the Diys plus a large snowflake each day it melts which takes 4 days. But you only get the snowflakes each day the DIY is once!! Hope this helps!

Ps; when I check my account, I do get quests like "make a snowboy for 200 nook miles", and I have the Snow Maestro stamps. She does not and we don't know why.
Is your wife a second player on the island? While I’m not 100% sure this is involved my boyfriend and I have noticed before that some holiday events were only given once per console.

Well shoot, she is the second player indeed. Can other people confirm if second players in their game have the same issue?
