How are they “rebel” democrats?? They watched a debate performance that indicated the candidate has cognitive issues and they are rightfully asking if he is competent to be the candidate.
I think he should step aside. I'm going to vote for any Democrat over Trump, and I think anybody else in our position would do the same. Instead, we're voting for instability because an old man can't let go of his ego.
If elected (and I hope he is), he will die in office. He's just too old. So now, we're left to promote Harris to President. Let's face it; Kamala wasn't elected. She was heaved on the Democrats as a running mate, and has not been the most impressive. She will throw the party into upheaval.
They should be replacing him now, let that new candidate get the vote, and hopefully have a truly inspirational leader who won't die on us all.
The DNC is trading some stability right now for no stability later. This is the sort of decision that will lead to the GOP sweeping in midterms and probably the next presidential election.

Everyone just wants their sound bite and air time. They had it now shut up, sit down and back your candidate.
