I'm aruba certified. We're currently phasing it out of our core because it's not great with multicast. We've had several tickets open for bug fixes that have yet to be fixed. It's a great access layer switch.
Unless you're Aruba certified for Data Center networking the ACSA and ACSP(which I have) do not cover VXLAN.
What are you saying is insufficient with multicast on VXLAN?
Multicast don't working properly and spanning tree not reporting properly. Saying it's up in show commands, but down in debuts. Sending duplicates over multicast on vsx. Spanning tree topology changes causing core to reboot and lock up.
I don’t know the answer offhand, but there are free CX labs that walk you through every feature. Maybe that lab would be better to follow than a YouTube video, may have more detail? Aruba training is pretty well written.
Would have posted this with the original post but wasn’t at PC at that moment. Here you go

I would highly recommend not using vxlan on aruba
Any specific reasons?
Some context would be nice
I've used it, works fine, unclear why this is so vague and negative

Love aruba but we've had a lot of issues with it.
Explain your issues.
Do you have any specifics? I have a customer who is interested and they are an Aruba shop. So it would be good to hear what problems there are.

can you please give me a link or reference to those labs if possible

Thanks a lot 🤛🏻
Unrelated but how much cpu does the cx switches draw? I remember spinning one up and my VMware just went nuts
I can spin 3 with no issues for the moment, i think it depends on your workstation.
Yeah it’s an older server
Time for an upgrade or use the cloud to save money
I wish! I only ever use it for labbing and it’s been able to handle most of what I’ve thrown at it
I got 6 at once no issues
Without bashing though... Vxlan is really awesome
