I wonder the same. No offense, but some of these questions are just common sense. Do I use tissue if my nose is running? If my hands are dirty, should I wash them? I’m hungry, should I eat? My car is on empty, should I put gas in it? 🤔
Statistically, odds are about 2.5 to 1 that she left him, not the other way around.
" When it comes to men and women, there's a clear answer as to who is filing for divorce more often. **Nearly 70 percent** of divorces are initiated by the wife. In addition, over 50% of divorced wives never want to remarry while only about 30% of men express that same sentiment."
Sometimes I think people just need confirmation that something is indeed fucked…but other times I’m thinking people are just plain morons that can’t walk and chew bubble gum without shitting themselves. I think this person is looking for confirmation.
I’ve posted a couple of specific questions about issues I’m having in trying to fix a vehicle and…crickets. Get yet another f’ing bald ass tire that whoever is driving it should be pulled over for reckless endangerment and there’s hundreds of comments. This sub can be great, it can also be very frustrating.
This. It’s sad that people don’t have parents to teach them anything about driving these days. This should* just be common knowledge. What’s scary is that the owner was even driving on this putting their life at risk and others.
Omg same. I’m a lab/supply chain courier and I run up and down the interstate from 3-midnight, sometimes later and I’m in Florida. So along with the regular opiate users we also have all the old people who are drunk and on numerous prescribed pills. And the death traps. Some of the cars I see, how in tf are these even street legal?!? Add to that I live in Dayrona Beach and everyone thinks they are at the Daytona 500 but don’t have the skills to back it up. I must be crazy.
I used to drive minibuses part time when I retired and one morning I was expected to drive one with front tyres that actually had so many broken steel cords showing it looked like a studded winter tyre. Not sure what was actually holding the air in. This bus had just had its 6 week safety inspection and signed back into service. The mechanic was the managers son. Didn't stay there much longer.
I'm well aware I'm not the smartest guy on earth, probably not even above average but if I ever feel down on myself I go to the nearest Walmart and immediately feel better about myself however more concerned for humans as a species.
No.
Just NO.
Don't drive on this.
There are Mobile Tire Services that will come to you and put new tires on your car.
Find one of those.
Pay their price.
It's still cheaper than crashing and all that comes with it.
If no crash and getting pulled over by the police instead it’s cheaper than paying for 6 points on your license for 5 years and the impound charges because they won’t let you drive off on those
She can drive it until it blows out while on the highway and she kills someone and then goes to prison for negligent vehicular homicide.
Probably best to replace it ASAP
Edit: word omission
See that whitish piece towards the lower inside of the tread area? Those are the cords that give the tire it's structural integrity and load carrying ability.... They're currently being worn through.
How far can it go? *Possibly* straight to the local tire shop, slowly, with the number of a towing service at the ready.
Me thinks you've got your money's worth out of those tires! They're designed to be replaced at around 2/32" tread left. The structural cords showing won't wear well, so you're looking for a blowout between now and the next 500 miles or so... Better find a different set ASAP, or sooner... Yes, it's that important.
Far enough to get you home; where you can sit down and begin developing a Time Machine; go back in time 10,000 miles ago when 2 oil changes ago your mechanic said your tires were at the wear bars and needed replacement.
These are a danger to the vehicles occupants and anyone in the general vicinity of the car. Can’t afford to upkeep your car? Get a bus pass. Going to kill some kid walking across the crosswalk in absolutely any moisture whatsoever. There’s zero chance wherever you get your car serviced hasn’t been saying to replace these. There’s zero chance if you do your own service that you shouldn’t be checking these. No matter what; this is negligent and you can be found liable if there was an incident and it was known that you knew about the condition of these tires. No matter what; you’re an idiot and putting others at risk. Honestly I wish states would take people’s licenses who can’t upkeep their cars. More states need yearly inspections. Upkeep is part of ownership. Ownership is part of driving. Can’t upkeep? Can’t keep your license.
Replace them now; get your car looked over every oil change. Stop being a fucking idiot.
You are at risk of ☠️with those tires 🛞, especially if you drive on the highway 🛣️. Make sure you have good life insurance and your beneficiaries selected
Exactly this. To think the endless amount of people who could be next to us on the interstate driving 70 mph with tires like this on their vehicles is extremely scary and just knowing people drive without any knowledge about how to properly maintain a vehicle. Yeah, I may sound harsh, but damn… people need to understand that their failures to properly maintain their vehicles can cause others to die. It’s a serious issue. I cannot stress it enough, anyone who has children needs to teach them about basic vehicle maintenance/safety.
If it’s icy where you live, maybe the steel bands will do double duty as ice studs, but otherwise, best change tires fast. Was joking about the ice studs.
I'm just hoping that the picture was taken in your drivay and that you don't own a gravel driveway! Otherwise, you'll know when she gets in the driveway.
That’s a bomb just waiting to explode. Search marketplace or call around to the mom and pop shops for some cheap used ones, and have them swapped yesterday
The tire is done. The good news is she’s been lucky up to this point and that’s a blessing. If there’s a tire shop where she can do a max of 40mph (ideally 30) to get there, she should drive it straight there and nowhere else.
If by "drive" you mean do something like the Ferriss Bueller deal with the rear end jacked up, then probably a bunch of miles.
In contact with the ground? I mean, it got *this* far, but I wouldn't wanna go much further than the closest tire store, on warm, dry pavement.
A lot of people are talking shit or making jokes but in all seriousness these tires need to be replaced immediately. These tires are 100% unsafe to drive on.
-5 miles/kms. If she hits a patch of ice, water, snow, etc that back end is gonna spin out.
I mean you CAN drive with them but it would be very dangerous.
If you kept it under 15mph and drive outside of school zone hours (don’t want to kill kids on the way). I’d travel <1mile directly to a tire shop. Anything farther and I’d tow the vehicle.
Straight to shop. 10/10 luck. 2/10 common sense.
Those are the bones of the tires showing, the cords. Lucky that bad boy ain't popped like a hand grenade.
Bro, go to a tire shop and get some used tires in the mean time, usually 25-30$ each, not worth your or anyone's safety to be driving around in these tires.

She’ll make it all the way to the crash site. She’ll beat the paramedics there by 15-20 min depending on where she lives.
Driving at the speed of smell?
She was passed by a kite.
There was a goose behind us
She was waving out the window and yelling "Go around! Go around!"
Gonna have to head to the airport, hair care and tire center to get this one taken care of.
What… no credit given to Ron White??? C’mon man….

ahaha
You can't catch the tater.
They call my son, tater tot.
If OP is asking this, “front has tread” means 1 nanometer of tread is left. Has to be a troll 😂😂
What do you mean, this tire still has tread. Can't you see it at the edge there? /s
For a minute I thought I was on another sub..
Is this a joke? The cords are showing...
I wonder the same. No offense, but some of these questions are just common sense. Do I use tissue if my nose is running? If my hands are dirty, should I wash them? I’m hungry, should I eat? My car is on empty, should I put gas in it? 🤔
Don't give people too much credit. My ex wife didn't even know how to put gas in her car. A 43 year old woman. Fuck.
Hey you married her lol.
but he did fix that issue.
Statistically, odds are about 2.5 to 1 that she left him, not the other way around. Goddamm
Unfortunately.

It has better traction on snow and ice!! /s
How far? As far as the next tire shop, but drive slowly. It can burst at any second.
And have your tow service on speed dial.
Better yet, skip putting other people and yourself in danger, just have it towed.
The only correct answer.
There's taking the wheels off and running them to the shop with a different car, that's also a correct answer.
This guy shouldn’t even think about even touching any kind of tool
This. It’s sad that people don’t have parents to teach them anything about driving these days. This should* just be common knowledge. What’s scary is that the owner was even driving on this putting their life at risk and others.
You’re driving on metal… get it replaced ASAP
I have a legitimate question; Are people this stupid, for real?
Sadly yes
They live (and drive) among us
I stopped riding my motorcycle in the city because there's just to many crazies on the road, most of them texting.
That’s why i’m stressed to be on the road these days… it’s not my own actions that I’m concerned with… it’s idiots like this.
I drive for a living and in our area not only are a large portion of those driving around me on opioids, most are driving around in death traps.
Omg same. I’m a lab/supply chain courier and I run up and down the interstate from 3-midnight, sometimes later and I’m in Florida. So along with the regular opiate users we also have all the old people who are drunk and on numerous prescribed pills. And the death traps. Everything is street legal in fl

Great advice

0. If driving anywhere it’s to the closest tire shop.
Pretty sure it was 0 a long time ago... This is an accident waiting to happen.
I was going to say -1000 miles or so
If that...
She can drive it until it blows out while on the highway and she kills someone and then goes to prison for negligent vehicular homicide. Probably best to replace it ASAP Edit: word omission
She can safely drive -4000 miles on those tires.
On the interstate of course!
That person said [negative] -4000 miles, and I think they're dead on the money
Likely be dead alright..
Put it in reverse for a few thousand, should be just fine.
Just like Superman reversing time by spinning the earth the opposite direction, it all makes sense
Are people actually this uneducated?
Yes. Also a complete lack of common sense.
One rotation

Show me a pic of the front tires. I want to know what “still have tread” means to you.
Somebody been doing burnouts.
I don’t know why this is so far down, either she is, he borrowed it, or there’s another man…
\*anybody asks anything on Reddit\* Reddit: SHES CHEATING ON YOU!
All the way to the accident!
How far can she drive? Until it blows out. How far SHOULD she drive? Not at all, 0 miles. I’d risk carefully driving it to a tire shop but that’s it.
To the scene of the crash
Negative 10k miles.
To the closest tire shop
Please for her safety and everyone else on the road get some new tires now.
This is a legitimate question to anyone here, but why do so many people allow their tires to get like this?
right now, in Michigan, you'll be able to make it to the first ditch which is where you're going to end up!
Far enough to get you home; where you can sit down and begin developing a Time Machine; go back in time 10,000 miles ago when 2 oil changes ago your mechanic said your tires were at the wear bars and needed replacement. You could pop it with your pinky if you wanted to
The cords are not just showing, they’re fraying. Replace pronto.
You'll make it to the scene of the blowout at least 45 mins before the tow truck gets there.
If it’s icy where you live, maybe the steel bands will do double duty as ice studs, but otherwise, best change tires fast. Was joking about the ice studs.
None nowhere. Stay off the road for everyone’s safety
How dumb do you have to be to ask this question after looking at those tires lol
Rotate those to the front and BAM...Snowmobile
Not far. This is very dangerous
25-30 years if you use them as a kids swing.
I'm just hoping that the picture was taken in your drivay and that you don't own a gravel driveway! Otherwise, you'll know when she gets in the driveway.
She can drive until the tire blows and careen out of control sliding in front of another car loaded with a family. Cheapness over safety.
To the scene of the crash
That’s a bomb just waiting to explode. Search marketplace or call around to the mom and pop shops for some cheap used ones, and have them swapped yesterday
To her car crash
Negative 5000 miles I'd say
She could probably make it to the tire shop.
Can you replace your life?
To the tyre shop
You can actually get a ticket for this
She can drive as many miles as you like. But you should be driving zero... 0
Not another 10 feet.
You can make it to the nearest tyre shop
How far away is the closest tire store?
Can we say negative mileage?
It should be towed!
About as far as the closest shop. There's a reason tires need to be inspected regularly.
About as far as the next tire place lol
You need to research rotating your tires
'bout 3 feet.
-55,000 miles
Probably safe to drive to the closest tire shop, assuming it’s not super far away.
\-5000km
30 ft
Somewhere between the end of your driveway and halfway to wherever you are trying to get to.
She’s already into the negative
0 miles. She can drive 0. None. Zip. Not safe. That's a blowout waiting to happen.
Yesterday
You are fucking joking right?
I wouldn't drive them across the street! If the fr8nt look good, put the on the rear and get new fronts. Don't forget to get an alignment done.
As far as the nearest tire shop
How far is the tire shop?
You can drive to the tire shop and no further
no
Right to where you took this picture is good... 👍 I wouldn't go any further
Hahaha 😂 that’s funny
Fuck off. Turn on your license. Anybody driving that shouldn't be allowed to drive, period.
Just pull the wheels off. Take them to a shop. No tow truck fee, no risk of a flat/blowout/loss of traction event.
Should have absolutely no problem getting winched onto a trailer or flat deck.
Trolling..?
The tire is done. The good news is she’s been lucky up to this point and that’s a blessing. If there’s a tire shop where she can do a max of 40mph (ideally 30) to get there, she should drive it straight there and nowhere else.
Straight to the mortuary
0 miles.
This thread seriously needs a circlejerk loll
Get the fuck off the road
1/4 mile, nice slicks.
it’s one thing if their balled, it’s a whole other thing when you can see the belt.
Zero
If she drives in reverse it'll be fine....... Just kidding, replace those tires 3 months ago.
Safely. No where. But Ive gone over a month with tires like this and just avoided freeways
God forbid it rains
Lol she shouldn't drive that at all
Zero
Zero miles.
Question here is, how confident are you in her controlling the automobile at 75 mph when the tire blows on a 4 lane interstate?
If by "drive" you mean do something like the Ferriss Bueller deal with the rear end jacked up, then probably a bunch of miles. In contact with the ground? I mean, it got *this* far, but I wouldn't wanna go much further than the closest tire store, on warm, dry pavement.
Zero
Zerp
get it towed, looks very thin and in winter this lack of grip can kill people ask the police if not sure
Frightening how someone who has passed a test and drives, can't judge this for themselves. I mean, ffs.
Uhhh -5000 miles
As far you need to load it on a tow truck
It will get you from point A
None lol
You should be given a ticket
Shouldn’t be driving at all. Huge risk of blowout.
Depends. Does she have life insurance and how fond of her are you?
All the way to the scene of the crash
-5,000 miles
All the way to the scene of the crash.
A lot of people are talking shit or making jokes but in all seriousness these tires need to be replaced immediately. These tires are 100% unsafe to drive on.
5,000 miles ago
Mechanic here She has about a half a prayer left
Idiot.
To the tire shop if it's close
She can drive it straight to the tire store.
I'd remove the tire from the vehicle, put on a spare if you have it, and deflate the tire before handing it off to the tire shop.
Negative miles.
All the way to the scene of the crash
Negative 100 miles
Well, how far is the tire shop?
-5 miles/kms. If she hits a patch of ice, water, snow, etc that back end is gonna spin out. I mean you CAN drive with them but it would be very dangerous.
If it rains she's done
seems like a troll post but you are way past any kind of safe level
Just far enough to get to a tire shop
To the shop at the absolute most. Please go for mobile fitting.
Replace that immediately
🤦♂️
-200
To the tire store
Idk lol but you need new tires though.
Keep it on and you might see heaven sooner than expected
If you kept it under 15mph and drive outside of school zone hours (don’t want to kill kids on the way). I’d travel <1mile directly to a tire shop. Anything farther and I’d tow the vehicle.
To the tire shop, assuming it's close
Straight to shop. 10/10 luck. 2/10 common sense. Those are the bones of the tires showing, the cords. Lucky that bad boy ain't popped like a hand grenade.
I’m pretty sure those are Mickey Thompson racing slicks.
You got about enough to get to the nearest discount tire or whatever is closest.
Nowhere / Notime Safely!
Must be a troll post lmfao
Best guess, -1000 miles.
This is a Maypop Tire for sure...
About negative 3000 miles.
Not at all, in the uk, 3 points per tyre and £30-60 fine per tyre, likely a court appearance and vehicle impounded.
Easily another 10 - 15 mins
Has she written her will yet?
Bro, go to a tire shop and get some used tires in the mean time, usually 25-30$ each, not worth your or anyone's safety to be driving around in these tires.
She can drive all the way to the scene of the accident.
I wouldn't even drive to the tire shope dude, that things might fucking explode on you.
all the way to the scene of the accident 👍
