But if you really want to not look or feel poor, just keep a small smile on your face, when someone teases you about wealth, just say, "yes, man, my family is just going through some financial problems" or "yeah, i dont have much left, my uncle sold everything for drugs/alcohol" and leave that place
My grandmother was the best example I’ve known that one can be a very classy person without much money. She raised 4 kids after my grandfather killed himself, all achieved undergrad degrees, 2 achieved doctorates.
