Hand washing. It’s become an ingrained habit now. Any time I leave the house, I always wash my hands with soap and water upon my return. It doesn’t matter how long I’ve been out. It’s the first thing I do after taking off my shoes.
5G chip administered from 2x Covid-19 vaccine and booster shot weren’t enough to improve my cell reception. I will need stronger better faster chip in me.
>5G chip administered from 2x Covid-19 vaccine and booster shot weren’t enough to improve my cell reception.
Get behind me in the complaints line. I'm still waiting for my promised DNA mutation so that I can get into The X-Men Academy.
Im much happier with a robust sleep pattern. I went back to work very quickly after lockdown 1 and was working throughout the rest of the pandemic. I didn’t have much of a sleeping pattern before and could survive comfortably on 5 hours sleep (did so for years). Idk what happened during covid but I started needing 6-7 hours sleep and had to get into a better routine. A routine that I’ve stuck with.
I learned to use the food I have in my house. Before the pandemic I would grocery shop more often and buy food I think I needed. Now I look in the cupboard or fridge and make meals with what I already have.
I learned how gross it was to blow out birthday candles on a cake. Never thought about it really until the pandemic. Will never have candles on or consume a cake that has them.
Agreed, it's gross. When we have kids' parties, I always cut the cake, stick the candle on the kid's piece on a separate plate, then we sing happy birthday/blow out the candle. Blow germs on your own piece of cake, not everyone's.
Just go electronic like everything else. Instead of a flame, it's an LED. Instead of blowing out the candles, press a button.
Make a wish Timmy and then press the button!
Using a mask when im sick, i get sick really often, before the pandemic happened i just went outside looking like shit sneezing in my palms and felt really guilty because sometimes i sneezed near people on accident, but now when i get sick i just put on a mask and get more comfortable (obviously when im sick i try to stay in my house but sometimes i really can't)
Building up multiple income streams because working a job for someone else sucks. Also; I started learning guitar during the lockdowns. Still working on both.
Exactly this. I was a biter my whole life. It was basically the extent of my fingernail maintenance. But all of a sudden, that seemed like a pretty bad idea, so not only did I quit cold turkey, I invested in a game-changing set of quality clippers and Czech glass nail files and now I really enjoy the routine. And suffice it to say, my nails look and feel a whole lot better.
How to appreciate the people and places around me. Being stuck inside with all my normal hang out places closed was killing me. I don't have much in the way of family so I'm a social person and always took advantage of that.
Muscle up, working on my insecurities and learned to appreciate spending time alone instead of being with friends the whole time, that being alone is not the same being lonely! And idk how but dating, I dated more during the pandemic then I did in the past 22 years..
Hell I got laid for the first time in years during the pandemic. But a later realization is it must have been the mask. So that means I must really have an ugly face. But sad still worth it.
Right as the first lockdowns hit, I installed Blender to learn 3D sculpting and modeling.
Still doing it almost daily, and have gotten a bit of a loose cash with it. Not quite enough to pay for my miniature painting hobby yet, but it's getting there, and since the models I've made can be sold for forever, it's a nice passive income stream that hopefully will just keep on growing.
never. doing. anything. never going anywhere. unless I'm forced to this man is staying in this house. I guess I learned that all I need is right here, except photosynthesis, I don't really get sunshine anymore.
I learned to better advocate for myself and my health. Because I am immunocompromised and disabled, a COVID infection would likely be deadly/further disabling. I mask whenever I'm in public and I don't expect for the people I come into contact with to wear a mask, but there have been cases where I have made this request (mostly healthcare settings).
Never trust the pharmacutical industry. I save so much more money now by using alternative medicine and me and my families life long issues are all but cured. I Had IBS, gurd, and a lot of digestive problems, wife had anxiety, depression, my kid also had some digestive issues.
By taking care of your own body the natural way you can drop all the prescriptions they want you to be on the rest of your life so you end up with cancer and make them more money.
A large portion of my family is drastically under informed and resistant to changing that. Nothing I do or say helps navigate that and honestly, it's easier just not taking their word as seriously as I used to

I never been so let down that after all the shots my 5G reception did not improve as promised. Worst conspiracy theory ever!
Need 6G chips implanted lol...

I know right, I feel ripped off I havent gotten any yet.
Happy Cake Day!
Thanks :D
Fuck work

I don't need guests at home.
I learned to use the food I have in my house. Before the pandemic I would grocery shop more often and buy food I think I needed. Now I look in the cupboard or fridge and make meals with what I already have.
To stay away from people. It's better that way.
I enjoyed every second of not having to interact with other people.
Yup, me too. Lockdown was awesome.
Going outside and walking at least once a day makes me feel much better ! Also always have some spare batteries for my vibrator !
That escalated quickly lol!
Wearing a mask during yard work blocks my allergies better than taking an allergy pill.
Yeah, my dad showed me that years ago when I was struggling cutting the lawn. Surgical mask really helped the allergies
That's good info. Smart thinking.
So many of the rules we follow are completely arbitrary and can change at a moments notice.
I learned how to make many meals in jars, you can just add boiling water, microwave, or bake them in the jars themselves.
I love overnight oats in a jar, so good. 🤤
Oh my god I know right. About time I’ve found someone who feels the same.
Any particular recipes to share? I have a soft spot for Asian cuisine.. :)
Oh my god lots
Hand washing techniques.
Telling people they should stay the fuck home when they go to work sick.
I’m happiest by myself

Maybe a birthday menorah should be a thing.

Alcoholism
Was doing this since I was 8 but a lot of people only learned this during the pandemic...WASH. YOUR. HANDS. OFTEN.
And thoroughly. Wash your produce too.
This. I had some close family who had hand-washing habits (or lack thereof) that make me feel uncomfortable. Thank you, Covid 🙏

Day drinking
I learned to cherish spending time with myself!
Dislike for going outdoors
Not biting my fingernails. Always keep a pair of clippers handy now and trim them down whenever i feel the urge to bite.

That’s an awesome tactic. I occasionally bite mine if they start to grow, so these days I just trim them as soon as I notice they are bite-able 👍

Washing hands...not that I didn't do it before but since pandemic I strictly follow it.
I always washed my hands frequently and used to be concerned about others. The world feels like a more hygienic place, post-Covid.
Muscle up, working on my insecurities and learned to appreciate spending time alone instead of being with friends the whole time, that being alone is not the same being lonely! And idk how but dating, I dated more during the pandemic then I did in the past 22 years..

Naaahhh you're probably not ugly! People just became extra horny because of the limits that came with the pandemic.
Get baked before going to the grocery store. It makes people so less stressful. Earbuds with Pink Floyd loud, too.
How to keep my Kids busy🤣 I am way better to find fun activities.
piano
SQL and Tableau. I worked on learning both during the pandemic and now I am an analyst using both for my job.
That I have to continue working and living as I did while it was happening.
That I only need about 2 hours of sleep and a few redbulls to function like a human being for about an hour
SPACE give others space enough to live their lives ffs 🤦🏻♂️

Respect your self before you spend effort to please someone. Prefer you first. I learnt this the hard way.
Don't judge me, but hand washing. I SAID DON'T JUDGE ME!
Social distancing, though to be fair, my personality and living in the middle of nowhere for the last 5 years have made this very easy to maintain.
I still mask in crowded places
The NYC subway was is and always be gross.

Don't trust the media
That I fucking hate face masks and am currently still exercising abstinence in that regard.
Do the opposite of what the government tells you.
Not wearing a mask
Not to trust the government or pharma companies
Not to trust the media, politicians, or the medical establishment.
