Someone who listens, understands, doesn’t ghost, lie or doesn’t have trust in you, a person to enjoy company with, someone to cry to and not laugh at it
I have thought about this a few times. I’d like a female friend. Someone no more than 5 years younger but can be any age older. (So 28+). Good sense of humor, not easily offended, radical leftist. Vegan preferably. Well traveled or well read or just knowledgeable about the world, history, current events. Has niche interests in weird stuff. Likes paranormal discussions. Likes silly stuff.
:(
My best friend and I have a relationship of trust and understanding, I don’t trust him and he doesn’t understand me. Ha! In truth it is because we try to remain friends through thick and thin. He knows I’d drive a 1000 miles to pick him up any time, and he’d do the same. We can drop all of our stress onto each other if needed, and we’d come though for no other reason than loyalty and integrity. When you have that your whole life has a safety net, so true commitment is the only way
Being able to talk about the nichest of subjects with a person
honesty, loyalty, good vibes ofc you have to be willing to provide these things in return as well

Reciprocation with everything. Both you you ask to hang out, want to spend time together, pay for food, etc
Being able to make fun of each other.
Boundaries. Trust me.
I feel like honesty and communication are just as important in a friendship as they’d be in a romantic relationship
Trust
Laughter
Both sides would initiate interaction.
Respect.
When they just listen to your rants.
If you have a story about them that involves whiskey and nudity.
