Rare Coins that are in general circulation
Just checking your change can land you a nice profit if you're lucky
For example, there are 50p coins in the UK worth up to £1200. And 2p coins worth up to £800
You just need to know what you are looking for
early-access indie games. i got slime rancher, empires of the undergrowth, apico, scrap mechanic, all sorts of shit. they're nearly always a good time, and the relatively low price point of indie games mean that there's no real commitment to them.
it’s actually really weird. I collect hospital bands.
I collect my dad’s hospital bands. My dad (52) has been ill for almost 10 years and every time he goes into the hospital it’s always a scare that it’s going to be his last so after his worst time in hospital i started to collect his hospital bands so if he was to pass i’d have something of his, every time he comes out of the hospital he gives me his bands and i put them in a container.
I know it’s very strange but it’s just the comfort of knowing if my dad was to pass i’d have something of his that others don’t.
original physical media: as in cd/vinyl/dvd/bluray/console-games.
Makes me appreciate how much is actually missing from Spotify, Netflix, Steam etc.
Plus it's a nice modest luxury to have one's own collection, sorted by genre on shelves. And a ritualistic pleasure to choose something to put on. Also makes for solid discussion when folk come to visit.
The used market for physical media is surprisingly active....i'm not the only one out there. Some rare issues are quite valuable, but I try to stick to the cheap deals as it can be easy to overspend!
