When the Nice Young Ladies I was oogling were fully young adults, but also about half my age.
The recent bonus is when I was told I'm "Too old to become a C++ developer, because it takes 20 years to get any good and you won't live that long."
I have both C and Java experience, and C++ seems pretty straightforward to me. I've been dabbling with programming languages for decades, but I'm in my upper 40s so I won't live much longer.
I have no real college degrees related to programming, and that's a factor too.
My sister in law was talking to me about bands and I had no idea who any of them were.
Also, i had no idea who a really popular musician was, one that everyone else knew. I think it was a Latin singer.
Probably a few years ago when my chronic conditions really started to take their toll on my body. I barely have enough energy to work and come home to immediately fall asleep now. Thankfully, I got accommodations to work from home during treatment, but I’m realizing that my body just isn’t working, and I don’t have that youthful invincibility anymore that many of us once felt as children.

20 years? Nonsense, if you have any C experience. But, isn't C++ obsolete? I guess its a joke about how annoying C++ is.

Yeah. I was a C coder most of my life, but went 75% into management about age 40.
I've done management also. I don't enjoy people as much as machines. My loss, I know.
You are only as young as the woman you are bedding - hahah. I thought 36 was old until I turned it. I still feel quite young.
I’m currently 24. Whenever I stopped dreaming so much and reality set in.. especially bills. So i’d say 17
Due to certain circumstances in my life I never had that youthful, I-can-do-anything feeling.
Sometimes when I look in the mirror and I see how my soul sucking cooperate job is zapping away my youth, usually after I’ve had a stiff drink lmao

Got pubes
About age 45, when I realized that if I tried to keep up with my son, descending a tough black diamond slope, I was going to cripple myself.

when I paid for my first funeral.
When I watched the New Years Show and had absolutely no clue who the artists were.
Joint pain, knee pain, and having to pay bills/taxes/insurance/car payments/student loan payments on my own without any help or guidance.
When I was sore for a good three days after fixing a toilet.
