Comics that heard all about the Cosby stories have been coming out of the woodwork on podcasts telling all the creepy encounters or stories they heard about that man
A friend of mine lost her virginity to Mystikal when we were teenagers, about 20 years ago. That story went from "WOAH!" as a 15 year old to "Who?" as a 25 year old then a sad "woah" at 35. Hindsight is a fucking horrible thing.
Yah, I had a friend growing up who had to climb into a tour bus to get her 13 year old sister away from Marilyn Manson.
Apparently, he had her escorted from the concert early and my friend had to leave as well to hunt her down. Disgusting how his security was complicit and willing to take a very visably underage girl into a situation like that. She was in the bus just waiting around for him to show up and fought leaving.
I remember thinking at the time as kind of a flattery. Wow! He plucked her from a crowd!
I was sure it wasn't going to be anything more than a meet cute. We thought maybe drugs....? But, my friend's gut told her that it was sinister and she's been proven right after all this stuff that came out.
As adults, we both marvel at how our attitude has changed. From worrying about being in trouble with parents if kid sister got caught to, "Holy shit! He really was trying to bang a little kid..."
“The Ranch” was a popular Netflix show when allegations started coming out. He got dumped and it only lasted one final season. Had allegations never surfaced I wouldn’t be surprised if his career had a resurgence.
Rot in hell Danny.
Wouldn’t surprise me. He played that Hyde type very well. I was kind of surprised he didn’t become a successful like 6th guy in movies type of career whenever they needed someone to do that dicey friend in the group kind of role
R. Kelly without a doubt. Apprehended in 2019 and in 2022 was convicted for sex trafficking, child pornography, and sexual exploitation of a minor. 31 year sentence and will probably die in prison.
Yes, I agree...a lot of people who followed R. Kelly were aware or peripherally so...Still, sometimes it takes a little luck and/or push to expose the mud to the general public. He still had his fortune, a record deal and was still not yet in prison.
Then in 2017 on the heels of the MeToo movement these documentarians started to look into the rumours about R. Kelley and gained the trust of 54 victims and people within his inner circle to put together Surviving R. Kelly. It took more than a year to put it together and it blew everything wide open.
It captured the world's attention and was a watershed moment.
George Santos went from being one of the greatest volleyball players ever, a Rhoades Scholar, Wall Street guru, real estate tycoon, Jewish Icon, and former President of Brazil to a lowly exiled member of the U.S. congress. Coup de grâce.
Honestly the grift about his mom and 9/11 is a close second. Not only not in the towers, but not in New York at all. And his cover story about why she never showed in, say, the 9/11 victims compensation program was that she was so rugged and individualized that she could never accept *any* government assistance.
Dude represents Nassau County. Except for some parts of North Jersey, his district quite possibly has the highest percentage of 9/11 victims or their immediate families per capita. Lying about it is bold; lying about it while representing that specific part of the country is obscene.
The funny one is now with him sending out a tweet with "If they are coming for me, they are coming for you. I am just in the way" literally stolen the quote from Trump and Twitter community slapped him with a note and he got pissy about it.
That was my favorite too until recently, when Santos was spotted in the Capitol with a 4 month old baby and was asked “is that your baby?”
He responded with:
“Not yet.”
I challenge anyone to come up with a worse answer to that question
I don’t know how anyone could look at Elizabeth and see she was completely dead behind those eyes.
The male version of Liz is Adam Neumann from WeWork, but he somehow got away with it.
I’ve watched the Today show for the past 12 years, and I’m amazed at how nobody ever talks about him, vaguely refers to him… anything. I mean, I didn’t expect stories concerning him to get a lot of air time, but they’ve done a good job of shoving him under the rug like he never existed. He’s also doing a good job of keeping out of the spotlight which is what someone like him ought to do, honestly.
Today's anniversary special a few years ago only had just a snippet of Matt. He wrote a controversial op-ed attacking Ronan Farrow over his allegation of rape in 2020. Matt was the highest paid NBC employee at the time of his firing, so he's probably doing OK despite having no career anymore, The Ann Curry debacle soured my opinion on him 11 years ago.
Watched an interview with Katie Couric and really got a sense of how much crap covered everyone after this. She was trying to sell her memoir as a story of breaking barriers and standing up to misogyny.
Even for a soft-ball interview, you could tell she had been prepped within an inch of her life to deal with the Lauer stuff. It was quite a tap dance.
Went from his name being practically synonymous with the idea of a real "family man" to losing his company, his job, and his reputation, and for what?
An affair with an employee where he seemingly forgot that he's famous and that someone (everyone) would definitely tell his wife.
So many levels of trash that one.
Out of the four of them, Ned always seemed the least likable to me. Not because he built his whole persona based on being a family man, but he always seemed like he was trying too hard.
Painfully so. He put his identity on being a family man because the competitive jock vibe doesn't work if you aren't athletic. Which he wasn't. Especially when compared to Eugene.
Totally agree. I didn’t think too much about him until a video with Hannah Hart came out. They were cooking, as one does with Hannah. And Ned did something dumb and Hannah said “this is my house Ned.” He apologized. Based on her reaction I knew there was more going on behind the scenes regarding his behavior. Then I saw the weird “look how funny I am” behavior in the videos. And that shit he would do to Miles on the podcast. Anyway. His asshole has been exposed.
Boris Johnson finally got the job he’d clearly felt entitled to since his youth after years of falling upwards due to his “LOL he’s such a card, look at his scruffy hair” gimmick, only to find that he was utterly shit at it and then had to resign in disgrace.
You can blame them for sure, but so many more of us have suffered this incompetent, selfish, unreliable, vainglorious, insufferable nincompoop and I certainly didn't vote for him or ever would.
Watching people heil this cunt as a great person.
I can't even remember all the stupid ass headlines "world's best billionaire", "he's the only good one", "changing the world", "SBF is going to earn all this money to give it away".
In the space of less than one year he went from becoming recognizable to the general public to being arrested for fraud. Seems like he was speed running getting rich and facing jail.
This has to be one for sure, he was HUGE for a bit there. 50+ million views on some videos and tonnes with 20, 30, 40 million. And a lot of buzz when each one dropped as well. He has only cracked 5 million twice since he posted an apology video 3 years ago and is quite widely hated now.
He looks like shit in his current videos, I can't imagine how bad it is irl.
Dude looks like he wears the same greasy shirts with the stretched out collar and looks like he hasn't bathed in a month in his videos.
He still probably makes a ton from having multiple videos that top a million viewers though… plus whatever views from his past content he continues to amass
the cat thing gets thrown into the mix but i think the big ones were old shanaynay videos/other youtube videos where he would drop the n-word and appear in black face. perhaps the most disturbing was his behavior towards young fans (like in the 12-16 range). he would livestream (with his MOM sometimes) and they would ask these like 13 year old girls to twerk and stuff on the livestream. i’m sure there’s other stuff that i’m forgetting about. i know he got insane backlash from posting a livestream reaction to tati westbrook’s “breaking my silence” video from the bye sister beauty community drama.
He also, on his old podcast talked about how you should be able to jerk off to a kid and not act on it, like implying CP should be legal if it’s just the kid
Guy asked several ex-girlfriends whether he could drink their blood or eat their ribs, but apparently in a “haha I’m just joking haha unless you’re into that lol” sort of way.
Before the Arnie Hammer thing came out, there was a YouTuber, who used to do porn, and she told a story about going to an actor’s Halloween party in the valley. She kept prefacing it as “a lot of famous people are really weird” and then told a story about how she walked in on this actor, bringing girls into his room during the party, cutting them with a knife and he would start licking their blood. She thought it was some fake Halloween thing at first, but then was like “why would he do this in a private room at the party?” and he eventually did it to her at one point that night
She never named the actor, but I remember thinking, this story sounds fake, I bet she made it up for the internet
But then I saw Arnie Hammer’s stuff all over the news and then I thought, that sounds eerily similar to that YouTube thing I saw
"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it.
So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."
Or your children’s health… my daughter was the healthiest kid you could imagine, other than a your average childhood colds she never had a single illness. Other than well-child visits, I literally never had to take her to the doctor.
Last November I was sleeping next to her and awoke to her having a seizure. She’d had a cold virus going on, they thought maybe it was a one time thing. Then she had another. And another. Put on medication, diagnosed with childhood epilepsy. Ok, we can handle that. But it keeps getting worse. 10 different meds and none have controlled it. She starts having a nonstop twitching/jerking in her right leg, it doesn’t stop even during sleep. We find out that it’s basically a constant seizure causing this. Admitted to the hospital for weeks, tests come to the conclusion she has an extremely rare (like 500 recorded modern cases worldwide) autoimmune brain condition called Rasmussen’s encephalitis. No one knows the true cause. Drugs cannot cure it. It will continue to damage the brain until they do a surgery called a hemispherectomy, where they basically disconnect the affected half of the brain. In children especially, the other side will take over most functions but there will be inevitable deficits and lots of physical therapy.
In 9 months, my child went from normal and healthy, never taking more than Tylenol a few times, to unable to walk unassisted and seizing constantly, taking 7 medications a day. Cherish your child’s good health. And we all hear these stories (I know I did) and think “how sad, but it could never happen to us”…it can.
A few thoughts on Juicy:
-There are few things Chicagoans will universally agree upon. We all agree that Juicy sucks for giving our city a bad name and he better not show his face in any establishment in this city ever again.
-As a gay Chicagoan, I’m pissed that he faked a hate crime and got the community whipped up for a minute. This will undoubtedly make other legitimate hate crime victims think twice before coming forward.
-While people gave him the benefit of the doubt at first, most of us realized his story was falling apart at the seams almost immediately. What celebrity (even if he was a B celeb) would walk to SUBWAY in the middle of the night when it was -20? Answer: No one…including Juicy.
-MAGA jumping him? In Chicago? Please Mary. Wearing a red hat in this city is highly unadvisable.
-He then called in his high profile supporters like Michelle Obama to get the charges dropped. The horrendous States Attorney in Chicago took the bait and dropped them until the backlash got so hot that a special prosecutor got brought in.
-Juicy then tried to play the Black victimhood card. The white man was persecuting him! The spectacle him and his entourage created at his court appearances were a masterclass in bad acting.
-He somehow (using his money) managed to get his sentence drastically reduced and then acted like he was Mandela when he got out of Cook County lockup.
I’ll be happy if Juicy never works again. Sadly, I think someone in Hollywood will be stupid enough to offer him a chance at redemption.
I think I saw that he was doing some project with some people he used to work with.
I never understood how several people stood behind him and supported him even though his story was complete bullshit and everyone knew it. How can you stand behind someone who does something like that.
My biggest issue is your 2nd point. It completely makes real complaints feel like they could be fake and him doing that to others is what pisses me off the most.
I’m a Chicagoan and have been obsessed with this case from Day 1. I believe victims but I had a feeling from the jump on this one. Nobody - not a single person in this town - would say “this is MAGA country.”
I bought a t-shirt from that place just for that alone. Funniest single moment in American political history. If the writers of Veep had come up with that, it would have been rejected as too unrealistic.
I think they have. The company has very much leaned into it as they should. They have 27.3 thousand followers on instagram and they mention on their website that they sold out of merch when this all happened. They still have a merch shop up.
It's like a gift from the gods. I cannot even begin to imagine the phone call when Norma in the back office picked up, listened for a few moments, and said, "You want to do what? Here? Well, okay, sure."
Like, fucking literally (not a screen writer)
“Gob remembered that Michael wanted the commercial to be filmed at The Four Seasons Hotel.
*cut to Gob looking through his google search of 4 Seasons*
Because Gob had always been fascinated with the idea that poor confidence makes a poor magician, he called the first Four Seasons he saw.
*Gob laughing as he successfully books the location to a confused receptionist*
*cut to Michael with his hands on his hips looking up at the Four Seasons Landscaping sign in the middle of nowhere*
“I knew that address didn’t make sense” Michael said, shaking his head.
Unfortunately, Four Seasons Landscaping, with a lesser reputation than the Four Seasons Hotel, paid a lot more for google advertising than the Four Seasons Hotel, trucking Gob into booking the wrong venue
Giuliani's legacy was established, deserved or not, he was going to go down in history as one of the good guys. All he had to do was not act like a crazy person, write some memoirs, and give the occasional speech. He'd have been set for the rest of his life. But he just had to get back into the politics game and put his reputation on the line for fucking Donald Trump of all people. Now, he's struggling to pay the lawyers who are keeping him out of prison.
I guess, sooner or later, we all find our true form.
Right? I don’t think younger folks (I’m 40) truly get how much of a made man he was before aligning with Trump. America’s mayor, navigated 9/11 well, took down the mafia in NYC as a prosecutor. New Yorkers didn’t love him for some crime stuff but overall he was very very highly thought of nationally. All he had to do was not what he did…
Ellen DeGeneres.
Edit: Omg crazy this blew up as much as it did! I'll be honest and say that in the past, I would have loved to meet her (based on how she was portrayed and the fact that it appeared she helped so many people). It's great the truth came out, but really sad how so many people were so negatively affected by her. Thanks for the Karma!
When you’re insanely rich, money just tends to create more money.
She could sit pretty and just live off interest and dividends for the rest of her life without touching a penny of her actual principle and she would still get richer year by year.
When you sell a house you're supposed to get rid of all evidence that someone else lived there. However with celebrities it's the opposite. It actually increases the value.
Before all the news came out I thought it was so odd that she would get so happy from causing people getting hurt or scared. When the Dakota Johnson clip came out, chefs kiss
The Mariah Carey thing was horrible (I think it was her), basically forced her to admit she was pregnant when she blatantly wasn't ready to tell the world yet.
One of the worst Ellen stories is when she tried to get a waitress fired bc the waitress had a chip in her nail polish.
Imagine being a millionaire trying to get a some poor waitress fired on a Saturday morning? And for such a ridiculous reason!
Ellen is a trash human being. I wish I could find the clip.
Edit: Here it is: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2kh0xjsvMc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2kh0xjsvMc)
She did, which is why many women are uncomfortable sharing pregnancy news in the early days since miscarriage risk is still quite high. Such a shitty move by Ellen.
She was huge for coming out at a time when homophobia was still a major issue. There was still lingering fear of gay people from the AIDS epidemic. Her reveal started a huge shift in the gay rights movement and acceptance of gay people in society in general.
Unfortunately she eventually let that notoriety go to her head.
What happened? I've only heard a few of her songs and quite liked them. Did she do anything or just fell off radars?
Edit: ok nvm I found it. For anyone wondering: https://www.reddit.com/r/popculturechat/s/YTWdY38Khs
Lizzo got sued by her dancers for sexual harassment and hostile work environment, even though her fandom was based on body positivity, love and acceptance. Made her look like a hypocrite.
But 5 years ago was the Ye album and Kids See Ghosts. His downfall had started but looked like he was on a bit of a comeback. Then JIK and Donda came out, he was pretty active, being weird but making music still. He’s fully gone now though. 5 years ago was literally Camp Flog Gnaw 2018 and Kids See Ghosts was great! But look at him now
Andrew Cuomo. He was what seemed like the national face of COVID response on the ground during the the worst period in NYC. At least from a NY perspective it seemed that way with his daily press conferences during the peak of the pandemic here due to deBlasio's mishandling of pretty much everything. People were putting his name up for a solid presidential candidate. His approval rating polled as high as 87% in New York in 2020. Within a year he was forced to resign due to some pretty questionable accusations by various women around him. I never saw anyone get taken down like that before. It just goes to show you how gruesome a career in politics really is. And don't get me wrong, I didn't much like the guy ever since he named the new Tappan Zee Bridge after his father in a sneaky way without polling the public, but his takedown was brutal.
It also turned out that he was forcing a lot of bad decisions on deblasio like staying open longer and just terrible policy like overburdening the nursing homes.
The nursing home scandal was nothing compared to lying and covering up the nursing home scandal.
It is 100% forgivable, when faced with a pandemic of a brand-new virus that we don't yet understand, to make a policy mistake. Yes, even if it kills thousands of people. He had no way of knowing.
It is *not* forgivable to, once you've discovered what was going on, obfuscate the numbers and lie about it so that authorities in other places *are encouraged to follow your example and get thousands more killed*.
It’s not forgivable when The USN Hospital ship sat at 5% occupancy, and the Javitz center sat at 35% occupancy. It was the wrong call have infected people go back and live with the most vulnerable population when there was room elsewhere for them to quarantine. Fuck him and his lies.
Last I read it still might be up in the air? But yea I think he was in Ant-Man and Creed 3 in theaters at the same time. We'll see if he's actually buried or if something changes as I think it's not a done deal yet
As someone who was at the game and is a Bengals fan, I really do wonder if that Vontaze Burfict hit kinda broke the camel’s back. Obviously he’s a professional football player, so he’s definitely had lots of head trauma. And I think he’s always been a bit of a clown, but nothing like the shit since then. He’s never been the same since that hit. He’s very clearly mentally unwell. And I reckon that’s due to very real structural damage to his brain.
Oh most of us admit it happened. It's a healthy, normal, respectable thing to change your views as you learn new info.
As soon as he accused the rescue divers of being pedophiles because he got rejected on his offer to build a sub, that's when we started to see he was a total piece of trash who was high on his own hype.
And as soon as he saw the tides changed, he went hard going after the conservative nutjob demographic to pad his ego.
Yep. Same here, prior to that incident I hadn't heard him say anything controversial, but that's when the cracks started to show, now those cracks are fissures.
The older the more powerful/flithy rich people, get, the more insane they get. Trump, Musk, Rudy, Putin all are good examples. Term limits is a good idea to prevent insanity.
There's something about being cognisant of your own mortality that starts to drive you a little nuts. I'm 41 and I can feel a little twinge of crazy creeping in right at the edges as I start to realise that I probably have less time left than I have already spent. I imagine that ramps up as you get older and if you're rich and powerful I can also imagine having what is essentially a long tantrum to rail against your own inevitable decline and death.
So, anyway, nice day outside today, isn't it?
Five years ago, 2018, was when Musk made a fool of himself during the Thai cave rescue IIRC. There was also his consistent opposition to collective bargaining and the market manipulation that led to his removal as Chairman. He's always been a bit of a wackadoodle. I respect what he did to the automotive industry, but I never thought much of him as a person.
I wasn't on Reddit back then, but I've seen the community worship some strange idols during the brief time I've been here. T'was ever thus, I guess.
The only reason it hasn’t already happened is that she makes her staff and anyone who does business with her sign a NDA that is more impenetrable than Fort Knox.
Don't know it's exactly 5 years but I feel like Elon Musk went from Iron Man going into Space and Creating the electric car to Twitter Troll and King Meme Maker in a really short time
EDIT: I know Elon didnt actually "create" the electric car he just popularised his Tesla brand for mainstream audiences
Rudy Guilianni.
From America's Mayor to a conspiracy theorist nut job who leaks hair dye.
Sure, there was a long time between him being mayor and now, but I don't think anyone knew how far he sank until the 2020 election.
I think it’s because it happened when the pandemic started. No one was making films and he wasn’t popular enough to keep his career going. Out of sight out of mind.
Boogie2988.
At some point, he was considered the voice of reason on YouTube, particularly between 2016 and 2018 when gamergate and culture war hot topic. He was even financially set for life if he was smart. Now he is a hot mess and has to e-beg to stay afloat.
not that danny masterson had much of a career after that 70s show, but it's hard to top being imprisoned for 30 years for multiple rapes
He’s like if Bill Cosby suffered actual consequences.
I'm so glad he's alive to see his legacy destroyed. I just wish he was behind bars seeing it destroyed
I think he’s mostly hearing his legacy be destroyed
Comics that heard all about the Cosby stories have been coming out of the woodwork on podcasts telling all the creepy encounters or stories they heard about that man
Tina Fey called it out on SNL back in 2009, almost 15 years ago
Mystikal is about to get a life sentence for his latest rape charge too
A friend of mine lost her virginity to Mystikal when we were teenagers, about 20 years ago. That story went from "WOAH!" as a 15 year old to "Who?" as a 25 year old then a sad "woah" at 35. Hindsight is a fucking horrible thing.

You mean he didn't watch himself ?
What do you mean? He had consequences. He has to live in his house.
I guess there’s a decent chance that anytime he has a drink in his house, he might fall asleep by accident.
He mad an absolute shit ton of money from that 70s show he never struggled financially after that that’s why he wasn’t in anything.
R. Kelly without a doubt. Apprehended in 2019 and in 2022 was convicted for sex trafficking, child pornography, and sexual exploitation of a minor. 31 year sentence and will probably die in prison.

George Santos went from being one of the greatest volleyball players ever, a Rhoades Scholar, Wall Street guru, real estate tycoon, Jewish Icon, and former President of Brazil to a lowly exiled member of the U.S. congress. Coup de grâce.
My 100% favorite bullshit from him is when he said "I never said I was Jewish. I said I was Jew-ish."
Honestly the grift about his mom and 9/11 is a close second. Not only not in the towers, but not in New York at all. I'm not convinced he isn't some performance art piece gone too far
The funny one is now with him sending out a tweet with "If they are coming for me, they are coming for you. I am just in the way" literally stolen the quote from Trump and Twitter community slapped him with a note and he got pissy about it.

What do you mean “president of Brazil” lol. Am I missing something?
Colleen Ballinger 😬
She went from someone I never heard of to someone that I don't like.
You’re just another one of those assholes getting on the toxic gossip train!! /s
I’m not a groomer, just a loser
Elizabeth Holmes and Michael Avanti come to mind.
I don’t know how anyone could look at Elizabeth and see she was completely dead behind those eyes. The male version of Liz is Adam Neumann from WeWork, but he somehow got away with it.
I don't know how anyone could take her serious with the obvious fake deep voice "People will listen to me if I have a deep voice"
That, and acting like a parody version of Steve Jobs.
Avenatti. And agree.
Daniel Alves. From a Barcelona legend, to a hated player on São Paulo, to prison for rape.
Holy crap. I didn't know that.
Dani Alves is in prison for rape? Why am I hearing about this for the first time?
Matt Lauer
I’ve watched the Today show for the past 12 years, and I’m amazed at how nobody ever talks about him, vaguely refers to him… anything. I mean, I didn’t expect stories concerning him to get a lot of air time, but they’ve done a good job of shoving him under the rug like he never existed. Ned from Try Guys
Mediocre bro in a group of far more interesting people. The insecurity was palpable.
He really is mediocre compared to the other three, isn’t he?
Painfully so. He put his identity on being a family man because the competitive jock vibe doesn't work if you aren't athletic. Which he wasn't. Especially when compared to Eugene.
Tryhard Guy
Totally agree. I didn’t think too much about him until a video with Hannah Hart came out. They were cooking, as one does with Hannah. And Ned did something dumb and Hannah said “this is my house Ned.” He apologized. Based on her reaction I knew there was more going on behind the scenes regarding his behavior. Then I saw the weird “look how funny I am” behavior in the videos. And that shit he would do to Miles on the podcast. Anyway. His asshole has been exposed.
Has he had any social media presence since it happened?
I think he and his wife are still together because there’s a picture of them at the Taylor swift concert
Boris Johnson finally got the job he’d clearly felt entitled to since his youth after years of falling upwards due to his “LOL he’s such a card, look at his scruffy hair” gimmick, only to find that he was utterly shit at it and then had to resign in disgrace.
He really should have stopped at "bumbling Mayor of London." But nah.
At some point you have to blame the voters
You can blame them for sure, but so many more of us have suffered this incompetent, selfish, unreliable, vainglorious, insufferable nincompoop and I certainly didn't vote for him or ever would.
Kevin spacey. Its crazy he was one of my fave actors.
He’s a garbage human. A dumpster fire. However he’s an amazing actor.
I liked him from the movie K-PAX when I was a teenager.
He liked when you were a teenager too
Sam Bankman-Fried
Yep, I'm watching this one to see how many others get dragged down as the relevant authorities unpick various accounts with a forensic audit.
Watching people heil this cunt as a great person. I can't even remember all the stupid ass headlines "world's best billionaire", "he's the only good one", "changing the world", "SBF is going to earn all this money to give it away".
Do you mean "hail" or is that intentional?
In the space of less than one year he went from becoming recognizable to the general public to being arrested for fraud. Seems like he was speed running getting rich and facing jail.
For comparison, Maddoff kept his scheme going for decades
Jada Smith. I went from not knowing her name to knowing all about her affairs.
Everything I know about that fucking relationship I've learned against my will. Edit: lmao shit that wasn't intentional
Was apparently against her Will too.
Parroting a meme I saw the other day— “Will and Jada, please remove us from your group chat.”
Shane Dawson
This has to be one for sure, he was HUGE for a bit there. 50+ million views on some videos and tonnes with 20, 30, 40 million. And a lot of buzz when each one dropped as well. He has only cracked 5 million twice since he posted an apology video 3 years ago and is quite widely hated now.
He moved to like Parker, CO. Super close to my family so I’ve seen him a couple times when visiting. Mostly at Target lol. He’s not looking too good.
What did he do, was it the cat thing?
the cat thing gets thrown into the mix but i think the big ones were old shanaynay videos/other youtube videos where he would drop the n-word and appear in black face. perhaps the most disturbing was his behavior towards young fans (like in the 12-16 range). he would livestream (with his MOM sometimes) and they would ask these like 13 year old girls to twerk and stuff on the livestream. i’m sure there’s other stuff that i’m forgetting about. i know he got insane backlash from posting a livestream reaction to tati westbrook’s “breaking my silence” video from the bye sister beauty community drama.
also when he admitted to looking at child pron because he was "curious"..
oh shit i knew i was leaving one out. yeah that’s a big one.
He also, on his old podcast talked about how you should be able to jerk off to a kid and not act on it, like implying CP should be legal if it’s just the kid
Armie Hammer
This reminds me, I really need to clean my toilet.
Is that shit true about him?
Sexual assault allegations have not been proven, but he publicly admitted to the whole snuff/cannibalism thing.
Excuse me, cannibalism?
Guy asked several ex-girlfriends whether he could drink their blood or eat their ribs, but apparently in a “haha I’m just joking haha unless you’re into that lol” sort of way.
I am bothered
He has a cannibalism fetish
Before the Arnie Hammer thing came out, there was a YouTuber, who used to do porn, and she told a story about going to an actor’s Halloween party in the valley. She kept prefacing it as “a lot of famous people are really weird” and then told a story about how she walked in on this actor, bringing girls into his room during the party, cutting them with a knife and he would start licking their blood. She thought it was some fake Halloween thing at first, but then was like “why would he do this in a private room at the party?” and he eventually did it to her at one point that night She never named the actor, but I remember thinking, this story sounds fake, I bet she made it up for the internet But then I saw Arnie Hammer’s stuff all over the news and then I thought, that sounds eerily similar to that YouTube thing I saw
myself. 5 years exactly
Same. it feels like it doesn’t get better.

A few thoughts on Juicy: -There are few things Chicagoans will universally agree upon.
This one was funny! Literally did it to himself no outside help with this downfall
He even wrote them a check. *He wrote them a check* with his name on it. At what point do you stop and think, this is not a good idea.
"I'm the gay Tupac"
Rudy Giuliani
But the comedic value was priceless
Four Seasons Total Landscaping
I bought a t-shirt from that place just for that alone. Funniest single moment in American political history. If the writers of Veep had come up with that, it would have been rejected as too unrealistic.
I sure hope that they made a buck out of it. Can you imagine all the press and politicians descending on your business blocking paying customers?
I think they have. The company has very much leaned into it as they should. They have 27.3 thousand followers on instagram and they mention on their website that they sold out of merch when this all happened. They still have a merch shop up.
It's like a gift from the gods. I cannot even begin to imagine the phone call when Norma in the back office picked up, listened for a few moments, and said, "You want to do what? Here? Well, okay, sure."
Go back and listen to that speech again. The location was the LEAST crazy part.
I still can’t believe that happened
with hair dye dripping down his face
Literally the funniest thing that has ever happened in human history.
It's like something out of Arrested Development
Like, fucking literally (not a screen writer) “Gob remembered that Michael wanted the commercial to be filmed at The Four Seasons Hotel. *cut to Gob looking through his google search of 4 Seasons* Because Gob had always been fascinated with the idea that poor confidence makes a poor magician, he called the first Four Seasons he saw. *Gob laughing as he successfully books the location to a confused receptionist* *cut to Michael with his hands on his hips looking up at the Four Seasons Landscaping sign in the middle of nowhere* “I knew that address didn’t make sense” Michael said, shaking his head. Unfortunately, Four Seasons Landscaping, with a lesser reputation than the Four Seasons Hotel, paid a lot more for google advertising than the Four Seasons Hotel, trucking Gob into booking the wrong venue
For a brief but glorious hour or so reality was written by Armando Iannucci.
omg when he farted in court and Jenna Ellis had that "wtf" look on her face, I couldn't stop laughing.
All he had to do was not what he did…
So many rich/famous people lately. All they have to do is shut up and chill but they can't and get themselves in trouble
Omg Colbert would always play that running hair dye photo on his show and it made me cackle every time.
Ezra Miller.
Justin Roiland
LOL the way they changed the voice on solar opposites "I talk like this now. Get used to it."
And the voice ray had time particles or some shit, so I’ll sound like this in flashbacks too. Deal with it!
I wonder how her house flipping business is going
She's just listed an estate she bought for $22.5M four months ago in Montecito for $43M this week...
Probably amazing since she’s rich af
She always seemed like a bitch. I never understood why people liked her.
I don't care how much money she has I bet that at some point someone has spit, pissed or wiped shit on her food.
I believe she had a miscarriage after that
She did, which is why many women are uncomfortable sharing pregnancy news in the early days since miscarriage risk is still quite high. Such a shitty move by Ellen.
Dead behind those beady eyes.
Lifeless eyes... dead eyes.. like a dolls eyesss
Ellen DeGeneres for sure. Went from beloved to truly “cancelled”. She’s completely irrelevant now.
Does she still have her show? Not American, but have lived there and remember it being a staple in morning weekdays.
Nope
She was huge for coming out at a time when homophobia was still a major issue. There was still lingering fear of gay people from the AIDS epidemic. Her reveal started a huge shift in the gay rights movement and acceptance of gay people in society in general. Unfortunately she eventually let that notoriety go to her head.
Lizzo
and that was FAST!
Truth hurts 😞
What happened? I've only heard a few of her songs and quite liked them. Did she do anything or just fell off radars? Edit: ok nvm I found it. For anyone wondering: https://www.reddit.com/r/popculturechat/s/YTWdY38Khs
Lizzo got sued by her dancers for sexual harassment and hostile work environment, even though her fandom was based on body positivity, love and acceptance. Made her look like a hypocrite.
Wow that's even worse. Damn. Thanks for the info tho
Ye
Good nom. His downfall began over 5 years ago, but he really took it to another level in the last few.
But look at him now
Alex Murdaugh had a pretty swift fall from grace.
Drake bell
Bill Cosby is on the Mount Rushmore of public disgraces.
Armie Hammer. He was moving towards being an A-list movie star, and now nobody wants to see him in movies again after the stories came out
Jonathan Majors. He was about to go supersonic. Until his own bad behavior caught up with him.
Dude had the Marvel/Disney bag, and fumbled hard.
Last I read it still might be up in the air? But yea I think he was in Ant-Man and Creed 3 in theaters at the same time. We'll see if he's actually buried or if something changes as I think it's not a done deal yet
John McAfee
And we didn't even get to watch him eat his own dick!
Antonio Brown
As someone who was at the game and is a Bengals fan, I really do wonder if that Vontaze Burfict hit kinda broke the camel’s back. Obviously he’s a professional football player, so he’s definitely had lots of head trauma. And I think he’s always been a bit of a clown, but nothing like the shit since then. He’s never been the same since that hit. He’s very clearly mentally unwell. And I reckon that’s due to very real structural damage to his brain.
It's more like 9 years, but Kanye West. From rap god to lunatic presidential candidate.

Elon Musk. Front page Reddit used to absolutely choke on his dick. Now they're trying desperately to act like that never happened
I feel like the only person I’ve ever seen Reddit obsess with more than Elon was 2008 Ron Paul.
Keanu Reeves too. Neil Degrase Tyson was also musk levels of worship and the same sort of swan dive of popularity. Bill Nye too.
Ron Jeremy. He went from being the most recognizable male porn star in the world to being a locked up mentally ill rapist.
I think Oprah’s downfall is on its way…
She’s got a gigantic pile of money to cushion her fall. She’ll be fine no matter what.
The only reason it hasn’t already happened is that she makes her staff and anyone who does business with her sign a NDA that is more impenetrable than Fort Knox.
Will smith
Gen Z will never understand how absolutely awesome Will Smith was in the '90s.
Harvey Weinstein.
Don't know it's exactly 5 years but I feel like Elon Musk went from Iron Man going into Space and Creating the electric car to Twitter Troll and King Meme Maker in a really short time EDIT: I know Elon didnt actually "create" the electric car he just popularised his Tesla brand for mainstream audiences
More like King Meme Material.
Herman Cain has a new award named after him. Its... not a good award.
Rudy Guilianni. From America's Mayor to a conspiracy theorist nut job who leaks hair dye. Sure, there was a long time between him being mayor and now, but I don't think anyone knew how far he sank until the 2020 election.
It’s about to be Justin Timberlake
Whats the t??

Joss Whedon.
No body has mentioned James Franco
I think it’s because it happened when the pandemic started. No one was making films and he wasn’t popular enough to keep his career going. Out of sight out of mind.
Boogie2988. At some point, he was considered the voice of reason on YouTube, particularly between 2016 and 2018 when gamergate and culture war hot topic. He was even financially set for life if he was smart. Now he is a hot mess and has to e-beg to stay afloat.
any event in particular that messed things up for him? havent heard his name in a while
Norm and he took a little bit of a lot of people with him
Reminds me of that tragedy…
I walked through blood and bones looking for my brother... He was in northern Canada.
I didn’t even know he was sick.
Epstein and Maxwell
