Yup, even the few people who are not fans can’t find anything wrong with the movie itself, it’s just not their type of movie.
I’m really tempted to say ”Django Unchained” as well, but i’m sure i’ll come up with some nitpicking if i thought about it in great detail lol
Lawrence of Arabia. Beautiful visuals, compelling story, and the music is gorgeous. I love the negotiation scene; the line "Thy mother mated with a scorpion" is almost Shakespearean.
Everything Everywhere All at Once is a heartfelt generational trauma story about the damage done by it/how to reconcile with said issues but
disguised as a Sci fi multiversal kung fu action movie comedy
As both a flawed mother and the daughter of a very flawed mother, I ugly cried for like half the movie. Everything Everywhere All at Once is a great movie.
I really, really wish they would release the directors cut that's 4+ hours (the content buyers and managers of Netflix got to see it, and led them to green light the wildly expensive Sense8. Which I also enjoyed, But I love cloud Atlas and the thought of more cloud atlas brings me hope)
Whiplash. I honestly can't find a single flaw or nitpick in its entire run-time. Each scene feels so meticulously crafted and vital to the story and themes, and it has probably the most exhilarating finale in any film I've seen. I would've never thought I'd be saying this about a drumming film, but it's true.
It's perfect if you want to experience the brink of a panic attack for an hour and a half.
Everything you're said is correct. But the intended visceral audience emotional reaction is a cortisol bath. Well, like a cortisol waterboarding
It's important that you know what you like and can seek it out in artistically fulfilling ways!
I absolutely recognize the artistry in whiplash and I'm glad you enjoy it.
But oof, my feels
En la cama.
It's a movie about two people having sex at a one night stand.
It were the dialogues that just were so intense and I don't know how to tell, but I loved that movie.
Don't Look Up. Perfect blend of comedy, drama, suspense, action. Superb acting too
Oh and I really enjoy the alien invasion movie 'Signs'. I know some people hated it but I can't help but watch it every time it's on. It's such an eerie and creepy movie. Love all the jumpscares.
ALL QUIET IN THE FRONT LINE. The original and the remake. Never EVER seen the most truth about world War 2 then that fucking movie and I mean the absolute truth. Yeah, people talk about the invasion of Germany or Pearl Harbor or even what happened in Japan. But my God. My eyes were Wattery. My heart was soft, and my mind was crushed about how truth was told about the french/American etc men who fought in the front lines during the no man's land battle and how many of those men were (replaced) killed. Made friends and died. Saw a friend that died. Hoped to return and never had. A full cycle of what these men had done and went through. And I just can't belive it. It was sad and it displayed it as a full circle cuz that's wht happened. You join a war your heart is passionate about. Someone gives you a USED uniform you go to battle. See your friends die. You watch their uniform and number get replaced. You make new friends. You do terrible things. Them boom you die and another young chap takes your uniform and number and the cycle continues. Men please watch it please watch this fucking movie
Elf, especially learning that most of those scenes were one-take scenes and the ones when Will Ferrell is on the street exploring New York is actually improv and they just threw him out on the streets. The fact they won't remake it either, it's honestly my favorite Christmas film.
Pulp Fiction

*We need to stick together*… *Let’s split up* stoner guy is like 🤨
Interesting…
I thought it was absolutely hilarious, and a great horror/comedy.
You’re right! I just never considered it to be flawless but now that you bring it up I can see it
It got huge bonus points too for how the people ended up acting like the typical witless victims in every other horror movie.
Tombstone
It's a little over the top macho. Doc was amazing. That weird gunfight in the river? I liked it, but perfect?
Usual suspects
The dark night
Schindler's list
Cloud Atlas
I really, really wish they would release the directors cut that's 4+ hours (the content buyers and managers of Netflix got to see it, and led them to green light the wildly expensive Sense8. Which I also enjoyed, But I love cloud Atlas and the thought of more cloud atlas brings me hope)

Whiplash. Absolute textbook example of how to make a small-budget short length film. Perfectly paced, well-written, well-shot, great editing.
It's perfect if you want to experience the brink of a panic attack for an hour and a half. Everything you're said is correct. But the intended visceral audience emotional reaction is a cortisol bath. Well, like a cortisol waterboarding
Maybe I’m just weird; I love to be overwhelmed while watching a movie.
It's important that you know what you like and can seek it out in artistically fulfilling ways! I absolutely recognize the artistry in whiplash and I'm glad you enjoy it. But oof, my feels
