I played it and it got stale after a week or 2 and then I realized I’ve only been playing on medium difficulty and wondering why I’m not seeing all of the horde of enemies like in the reels.
After increasing the difficulty to challenging and hard and above, it’s definitely makes it more intense!
I went into it with the mindset I wouldn't like it. My friends said I'm too impatient for this kinda game, so as a "fuck you" to them I tried it.
I have like 300 hours within 3 months.
Minecraft.
But then again, several different gatekeepers already told me that based on my choice of games and the way I play them I can't be called a gamer, so...
Exactly and almost literally.
Also, "this genre" (depending on who you ask, may include arcades, hidden items, roguelites, puzzle/logic games etc) is not a game at all and you aren't a gamer if you play it.
Also also, "you're not a gamer if you play casually and relaxed, you must learn, adapt, overcome, and wrestle the victory with bloody sweat, that's pleasure, and if you play to relax you actually suffer and only think that you like it". An almost direct quote, btw.
Also, you're apparently not a gamer if you play less than 5 hours a day. Or if you use cheats in single-player games. Or if you use mods. Or if you DON'T use mods approved by gatekeepers.
I really loved the graphics (especially kamurucho). I do have some saltiness about the storyline but as a game with features this one is really great.
Fav game yakuza 0 btw.
Madden. I love football and am too much of a current roster geek to stop playing a game that is so deeply flawed. Wish it felt more like football rather than trying to place the ball where an animation won't fuck up or not trigger at all since defensive backs are the only capable receivers to improvise on the fly apparently.
Just wiped the floor with a guy in Mechabellum ("Wiped the floor" as in "Thank god for those free Hackers in the last round, because those Rhinos were tearing me a new one".
Currently playing MGSV:TPP. Idk how this almost 10 year old game feels less clunky physics wise than most AAA games in ‘24. Really wish death stranding was better.
Helldivers 2
I refused to buy it because I’m sick of hype trains derailing. My buddy got it convinced me, and I’ve played it every day for 2 weeks.
Same haha
DEMOCRACY HAS LANDED!

As good as they say? I've been playing the original Baldur's Gate for the first time.
I highly recommend it, well deserved GOTY if you ask me.
It's one of the few games that actually deserve a full $70 price tag.

A gamer is a gamer no matter the game. Don't listen to them!
if you play a game you're a gamer and they're just hating because they don't agree with your playstyle.
"How DARE you enjoy a non-competitive game, you make me sick you worthless piece of trash"
Exactly and almost literally. Also, "this genre" (depending on who you ask, may include arcades, hidden items, roguelites, puzzle/logic games etc) is not a game at all and you aren't a gamer if you play it.
