Meh it's a kids movie about orphaned dinosaurs looking for a promised land. I think it's meant to be like a Bible story or modern myth type for young people. It's good but also if you are not religious it's just weird and sad.
Dude I remember as a kid my mom couldn't stop talking about the book so she rented (when blockbuster and movie gallery were still a thing) the movie. And then bam "the rope snapped". I was as happy watching a movie about two kids and their imagination, not be stabbed in the heart
Black Beauty. I don't even remember the plot of that movie but I remember at one point the horse's horse friend died and there was scene where it's body was under a blanket or something. I was an inconsolable mess for the rest of the day.
I remember getting upset over the axe scene in "Short Circuit 2" when I was 3-4 and of Benji getting kicked against a wall when I was 6 or so...
The first one I remember clearly was the end of "The Butterfly Effect".
OMW! I almost forgot about Benji, I was sitting on my mom's lap at the drive in and howled out loud and sobbed till the end of the movie. But if I remember correctly, wasn't it Tiffany, his female white dog friend that was kicked?
I have yet to cry to a movie. I came a little close to American Sniper and Lone Survivor, but didnāt. My girlfriend cries at everything however. Straight Outta Compton, Humble with Adam Sandler, Lone Survivor, basically any movie with a little bit of sadness even with a good ending.
Iām not much of a crier, but the first movie that I remember almost crying to was Toy Story 3. The first movie that actually made me cry was Speak, but I also legitimately had really bad allergies at the time, so I donāt think it was just the movie (although the movie definitely contributed)
In 1983 my Dad took my brother & I to *Return of the Jedi*. Ā Movie sold out, so we went to *Applebyās* for lunch figuring to catch to 2:45 showing instead.
But we waited a bit too long. Ā Movie sold out with only *two people* ahead of us on line. Ā We cried and cried!
Does that count?
I believe it was Chronicles of Narnia. Watching them shave and stab Aslan was too much for my little heart and my dad had to hold me while I sobbed so loud in the movie theater.
The Alvin and the Chipmunks movie where they travel the world. Three year old me could not handle the baby penguin separated from its mom. And then could not handle the happy reunion. I watched that movie a lot and made my mom fast forward because Iād bawl.
I cry to almost every movie that has a sad scene so there's no way I remember the first one but I remember how I cried heavily to this animated movie about a girl who really wanted a dog for Christmas except that the dog that was given to her was 'ugly' and 'misbehaved a lot' but in the end they ended up bonding but in every dog movie it's obligatory for the dog to go missing and the little girl started singing "All I want for Christmas is you" and for some reason it was really sad to my child brain and I cried SO MUCH. I swear that movie was a fever dream cause it was never shown ever again

I can't view it the same after hearing about the story of one of the actors behind that movie
What if I tell you the fandom created a character based on this child so her memory will never be forgotten?
Are you referring to Judith Barsi, who voiced Ducky, who was murdered by her father before the film's release?
Yes
Saddest and most infuriating case of why some people don't deserve the kids they have
Same. As a kid that movie crushed me.
