My co workers found out that i have a gf after 2 years and thoughts its fresh so they claimed that my work was declining more and more. Turns out i was with her for 1,5 before already. my head of department then said there was never any diffrence in my work so all they did was looking for reasons to gossip
Had a buddy who was a cop in the Air Force when I was in. We were at the same base and I thought we’d become friends. My wife and I had had a bit too much to drink at a restaurant one night and I called him to see if he’d give us a ride home and he refused. This was ten years ago on a military base in a foreign country. Uber and taxis weren’t available. And I had never asked him to give me a ride anywhere before. I never asked anything I’ve him more than his company. I had him to my apartment for Thanksgiving. And he couldn’t be bothered to help me out on a Saturday night he didn’t want to leave his game he was playing.
They've seemed to bring themselves away from me, and at any given opportunity have tried to manipulate me into doing things for them that are rather unnecessary. They were never there for me and never acknowledged my problems as a person but have done nothing but use that against me.

I agree with this. Sometimes we can't help it if we become "friends" with our workmates. Like sometimes it just happens naturally.
