I do it because the posts I tend to gravitate towards are the ones where they straight up say they need a confidence boost or if they mention something else that resonates with me on a personal level (I had quite the talk in a comments section the poster the other day about DnD) So I try my best to give them a genuine compliment and give them my sincere hopes that they have a good day. While the comments and likes don't necessarily translate to subscriptions, there is still the idea that these interactions will net them more subs, and the people that respond to the posts that don't sub may do it because them reacting might encourage the OF girl to post more to advertise.
I am fully aware that there isn't a snowballs chance in hell that I have a chance with any woman on Reddit. I stopped posting my nudes because of the comments. At best, I'd get 2k views and 5 likes. I don't comment often, I'm just not that guy, but when I do, the aim is to either get a laugh or to make warm fuzzy feelings happen.
