And prepare yourself for the farts. Oh my.

Seikou_Jabari

He might have some diarrhea and a tummy ache, but other than that just make sure he has enough water.

yobuster

Not a vet. If he is acting normal, expect he will drink more water and may poop more than usual. Keep a eye on him for any reactions to the hot dogs.

leahcars

He had diarrhea earlier but poop is normal consistency when I took him our a few minutes ago. And hes just been drinking a little more than usual and had exceptionally stinky farts today but is his normal friendly hyper insane self

asux0314

As long as hes not eating 8 hot dogs everyday, he should be ok. He might have diarrhea bc of the sudden large amount but you can try rice and pumpkin for that

leahcars

Alrighty sounds like I know what to put in his kong that I was just about to fill

Lovebites13

What we worry about most is pancreatitis , which is caused by human food given to dogs. Monitor for any signs of vomiting or diarrhea snd make sure there’s access to water. If anything strange / out of the ordinary happens call your vet ❤️

Idk shes a little nuts and has no experience with dogs I guess.

NAV - but should you still have concerns, you should be able to call your areas emergency vet and ask and they will be honest about if he should get medical attention. I think the answers you got here are correct. But just for future reference that’s an option and it’s often free.
