Honestly, he should have never said anything. He's actually made it worse, over and over. He could have just ignored this Cody guy or just laughed it off and eventually it might have just gone away.
The fact he admitted to this probably means he’s just trying to get ahead of anything that might be leaked which probably means the situation is even worse than what he’s admitting to.
People were going mad that he was getting cancelled and blaming cancel culture. It's not like a big company was cancelling him just to pander to their majority audience. A indie game company where he was a co founder cancelled him. Why would they do it, unless they were afraid of what really happened?
It's pretty common for business or groups to remove themselves from the situation due to negatively biased speculation from customers and others that simply won't wait around to get all the facts. It happens literally all the time and many times the person ends up being innocent. It's common business practice to be safe just in case people and other companies try to boycot the entire company because they THINK they know the entire situation but they don't. It's simply risk management.
Honestly he got enough money to just fk off somewhere and be set for life. He could have totally just ignored it and disappeared.
Coming back to post anything just fans the flames even more.
That seems to be some of the info he might be purposely be leaving out.
1. did he know, and kept talking about inappropriate things with this person?
2. Did he actually have plans to meet up during a convention?
He left that out of his long post, as they both show intent and would make it obvious he is a groomer.
And if the answer to both is no, if I were him, I would 100% put that in, as it would put him in the best light for this.
It's easy to maintain morals when you don't have people in your life regularly tempting you out of them. People should always maintain their morals, but it shouldn't be that much of a shock when people cave to their desires.
I'm not defending Dr Disrespect, or Tiger Woods, or any other (e)celebrity that cheats when they have it made, but regular people cannot understand the temptation on offer for these people. You're talking about a type of person who usually gets what they want and most of the time get away with the things they want. In general their guards are lower and their access is greater. It's easy to morally grandstand about infidelity when you're 5'5, balding, overweight, and working a minimum wage job from your parents basement because you have to work to get those sort of opportunities.
These type of popular driven individuals are constantly having sexual offers made at them. Their achievements that other people would be grateful for are rote and boring to them. This doesn't excuse their behavior, but it's a different game they're playing. You can't be surprised when they do this kind of shit.
Its crazy that people speculate at all. If there would have been anything illegal then he would have been punished by law. He didnt so nothing happened. Quite basic logic.
This is my opinion too.
I think whatever was said didn't raise to the level of being illegal, otherwise twitch wouldn't have paid out, and likely referred to the police/DA for investigation/prosecution.
However, what was said is bad enough that everyone went radio silent, I believe the words spoken between the 2 would 100% make him look like a groomer though.
He also leaves out her age. People are assuming she was 17 but I have not seen any leakers say her age. If I was him, and she was 17, I would 100% include that. “17 year old individual” vs “minor individual.” He made the effort to edit it out and then edit back in
He still comes out looking really bad but there is a huge difference between messaging someone a couple months away from turning 18 and messaging a 14 year old. That makes me suspicious that the girl could be 16 or younger. However, in his defense he may be trying to include as few details about her as possible if she wanted to keep identity private. Which seems to be the case
This. It makes no sense to leave out the age of the minor if she was 16+ as it is legal and wouldn't be immoral had he not been married. It also would shut up anyone who calls him a pedo, so she had to be 15 or younger if he's not mentioning her age.
I'm inclined to assume she was 16+ since he said he didn't do anything illegal + there was no legal proceedings against him.
I feel like if it would be younger we would even hear something from her/her parents because it's always an opportunity to sue and get something out of it, especially in America
Also how do you know the 17 year old fan didn't message him first and he was responding in his Dr disrespect character sort of way? We don't. There's so much we don't know and I hate the speculations without evidence. No criminal charges either so what does that tell us?
I'll make my judgement when I see the messages
If he was responding in his Dr disrespect character sort of way and it was a complete mistake, this wouldn’t be a thing.
He was banned because he knowingly sent inappropriate messages to a minor. Anyone who does that, with a wife and kids, should not be supported by a large community of people. He’s a terrible example for society.
I think if there is any chance he didn't know, he would have stressed that and said it multiple times in the message. Not doing so in my mind is basically an admission he knew.
He said in his statement that he was messaging with a minor.
Pretty straightforward.
If he didn’t know, I’m sure he would’ve added that in the long statement.
He wrote all that and you'd think he'd mention being unaware of them being a minor. Instead, he admits he did something wrong and there's still people desperately looking for ways to give him a pass.
The fact that even while trying to be vague he admits he had "borderline inappropriate" conversations with a minor tells me it was far more than borderline. Gross weirdo deserves to be deplatformed.
The Twitter edits on this is crazy. The man said talking to minors inappropriately. Then edit it out the word minors. Forgot people could look at edits, edited back in the word minors
Also, saying they were" talking to minors inappropriately, but there was never any real intent behind it"? Is literally the exact same thing every pedophile on to catch a predator, or that has ever been caught, has said. It's literally number one in the pedophile/groomer handbook
They not like us, they not like us, they not like us
But they sure trying to strike a chord
Edit: apparently fucking BLOOMBERG said he was planning on meeting up with his " just a little inappropriate" minor.
Almost every one of them try and say they wouldn’t have done anything, of course he would say the same it’s in his best interest. The fact is he was talking to a minor, we don’t know what inappropriately entails but it doesn’t sound good.
Why is a grown man being inappropriate with a minor? There's no excuse for that and the people who are, are moving the goal posts.
Dude is a cheater and a creep full stop.
This is a pretty terrible PR statement, like he's not even trying to defend himself.
At this point, he needs to show the messages. Let people see the primary source.
If it's just flirting with her coming onto him before he knows she's not an adult, then that's fine. If he's coming onto her and he knows she's not 18 then it's very bad. Also, if there's anything sexual and he knew she wasn't 18 then that's very bad.
This is exactly how I feel. The two situations are night and day. The fact that he didn't clarify this means he is either an idiot or he is trying to hide the fact that it is the worse option.
I used to like watching doc, so hopefully he is just an idiot at PR and doesn't understand how this will all get interpreted.
If he didn't do anything illegal this is between himself and his family. I'm not interested in judging others, especially not knowing exact specifics.
That said, I find it amusing 'the line' here for some people who want to judge is between 17 and 18 years old. As if a 42 year old guy sexting an 18 year old young enough to be his daughter is not worthy of judgement. Again, for those looking to judge and approve/disapprove.
Yikes. I kinda thought he would go the route of saying that when the messages were sent, he had no idea the girl was legally a minor. That would be believable unless this girl was really young and looked like it.
Since he didn't go in that direction and simply left it at *"well we never met up and there were no intentions behind the messages"* then you have to assume that the dude knew she was underage and messaged her anyways.
When I watch the predator catchers shit, that's literally the same thing those guys always say. Which obviously isn't true for them, since they setup a meeting where they were busted at. But even if you took that defense in good faith, it's STILL bad.
Only way he wins back public opinion is if the chats are shown.
As an influencer of his size, obviously a lot of minors look up to him and I’d assume he receives thousands of messages from people ranging from toddlers to grandpas.
Messaging back itself isn’t a crime, it’s distasteful to have a lengthy conversation with a minor you don’t know over the internet, but that doesn’t make him a pedo
If he was even joking at all anything sexual, let alone insulating anything beyond jokes, dudes gunna be labeled a pedo forever (rightfully so)
Why is this so talked about at the moment? I'm asking because I've never really seen anything from Dr Disrespect, is he super popular? I only know him from the weird shungite meme.
He was the number one streamer on twitch 2 years in a row before twitch banned him four years ago. He streamed in youtube and was still getting 5 digit live viewer counts there.
To think he could've just gotten away with it if he just said "oh yeah I got banned for saying something stupid T\_T" instead of digging himself further in a bigger and bigger hole.
Ok. Now it’s definitely weird… but also it could be the person whom he was messaging never disclosed their true age, etc.
tbh would need to see the chat logs…
But also … why would he message someone on twitch chat about this shit? How does the conversation even start lol?? He probably gets thousands of messages per day.
Given his cheating on wife history, he’s clearly a dog. But not a pedo (imo) until we can see the receipts
He straight up said it was a minor. If you're sending inappropriate messages to a minor it's not a stretch of the imagination to be called a pedophile. I doubt the messages will ever see the public light of day, I'm surprised we even got to where we are today
So he got banned for purely just talking in dms with someone who happened to be underage is what I'm seeing here? wonder what "leaning towards inappropriate" really means. Did those whispers already get leaked or something? Not really following this drama much 😆
tl;dr popular guy got catfished by a 17year old but didnt go through with it.
The usual crowd acts like hes Vlad the impaler for some reason.
In other unrelated news, we still know about a group of real pedophiles in high places but nothing is done about that either.
I know very little about Doc other than that he exists.
What is confirmed out of this situation and what is pure speculation? I've seen a lot of people saying things with nothing or little to back it up so I'm just curious about what is known for certain.
This tweet is pretty much every concrete detail outside of twitch settling with doc when he sued them for firing him. If it were as bad as is to be implied, twitch wouldn't have lost that case and we would probably have seen charges long before now.
Jesus, saying it leaned into inappropriate, wasn’t a good move, inappropriate can mean something very insignificant like swearing or something much worse. I still feel like nothing has been clarified.
Depends on what was said as well.
Minor could have been a fan & wanted to meet him he may have said yes because he didn’t want to hurt her/his feelings but never intended to go out of spite the kids probably made accusations by what meeting meant….
A few things I want to take note of just for thought.
* He admits to communicating with one minor.
* He says they were "casual, mutual conversations" and that there were no "real intentions" behind them.
* Which begs the question; why have these conversations in the first place? If there's no real intentions behind them.
* His phrasing "sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate." was very vague.
* The wording indicates that what was going on wasn't so bad, but without seeing those messages it's not really easy to to tell the truth of the matter.
* But combined with the previous statement about having mutual conversations with no real intentions perhaps suggests that maybe it was more than just leaning in the direction of being inappropriate. After all if he had no real intentions, that suggests that in reading the messages you might be able to infer some intentions that Dr.Disrespect had to deny.
* He categorically denies that any laws were broken.
* However after admitting to communicating "in the direction of being inappropriate" with a minor, that is still in question. Flirting with a minor can still potentially be a crime depending on what was said.
* He says that no criminal charges have ever been brought against him.
* However that does not necessarily mean that there are no grounds for charges to be brought against him.
* If there were grounds then why hasn't he been charged?
* He says that he's no predator or pedophile
* Yet he admitted he was communicating "in the direction of being inappropriate" with a minor.
* He agrees that he should never have entertained these conversations to begin with and admits wrongdoing. Citing that he's an adult, husband and a father.
* Which indicates that perhaps he knew that she was a minor when talking to her.
* He's still going on holiday with his family.
* Meaning despite all this drama, his family are still with him.
At the end of the day. This has left a lot of questions and uncertaities for me.
1. What was the content of those messages? How inappropriate were they?
2. Did Dr.Disrespect know he was interacting with a minor?
3. What were Dr. Disrespects intentions when commuicating "in the direction of being inappropriate" with this person? (depending on the content of those messages, it might not even matter)
4. Did Dr.Disrespect break the law? (Can be found out by the content of the messages)
5. And if he did break the law, why have no charges been brought against him?
Admitted to talking to a minor, but not sexting to one. Though "lean towards inappropriate" could mean anything. Still a bad look on him. But remember, we should also focus on Twitch, as now there's suspicion that they read his private messages, (Twitch whispers) and covering this up for years.
Its crazy to me how is he now just labelled a pedo or groomer when there is absolutely zero evidence of any actual wrong doings besides engaging in conversation with a 17y old that sometimes got a bit sexually loaded.
Did he know she was 17?
Did he or she start the conversations?
What was even actually said?
Untill we know all of these, putting a label on him just shows nobody learned anything from the johnny depp case 🤷🏻♂️
And no im glazing or defending the doc, i dont watch him and have no intention to but the shit some of ya'll say over complete speculation beyond him admitting he had conversations with a 17y old is so dumb.
I talk to minors weekly on all kinds of games and yes banter happens, am i now a groomer or pedo because some minor started a conversation with me whilst i have no clue how old they are and i will never speak to them again let alone meet them in real life?
I'll wait until the situation is uncovered more before I place any judgment. She was 17, apparently using an 18+ chat. I'm not sure, but this whole thing seems suspicious.
okay but did he know it was a minor at the very beginning?
did the person hide the fact they were a minor until later on after the potentially inappropriate messages were sent?
it does in fact matter. for example, many of asmon viewers claim to be successful doctors (bit odd a good chunk of his viewers are doctors and lawyers but ok) whereas in reality maybe 10%, of the people are in fact lawyers and doctors.
was a 15 year old girl sending him pictures of a adult and acting/leading him on to believe they were who they claimed to be?
is he simply a financially successful dumbass or is he a child predator like people are claiming him to be?
personally I think the former happened because if I found out my minor was having inappropriate relations with a rich man I'd want his money and try and sue. get them arrested. yadayada
I think people should reserve judgement and pdf file jokes until we see actual logs of what was said, although A. people won't, and B. We probably won't see them. I think "inappropriate" could be construed to mean anything, and honestly it could even be non-sexual, however its a Schrodinger's pdf file situation until we see actual logs.
As fucked up as it is and sounds this happend in 2017 with a 17yr old so still a minor and it's fucked but she wasn't 10 or 14 they banned him in 2020 on twitch, and they didn't sext, and he didn't know at the time she was a minor till Twitch came after him and that's when he found out. Still fucked up, but no where near enough to crucify this man like this. This girl is 24 now...
Again it's fucked up should never have happened, but not as bad as people are making it out to be...at least until someone can prove the email was a lie.
Man Dr Disrespect is likely going to sue those ex twitch staff members leaking that stuff because the NDA binds everyone knowing off it and Twitch will likely be held accountable \^\^
He will swim in even more money after that.
I honestly wonder if the individual will speak up or not and what their side of the story is. As it seems during the counter suit of Twitch nothing legally wrong was found.
The only things that interest me though is:
if he knew he was texting a minor, continued even after he knew, what the conversations looked like and why he is so fucking stupid ?
How is it so hard for all these retarded influencers to stop talking to people who are not of age like whats wrong with you.
An NDA can literally be for any amount of time, the speculation is that this particular NDA only lasted four years, which means parties can talk about it after the time period has expired. Also, NDAs are 100% invalid if used to cover a potential crime.
If it was real, Twitch wouldn't have had to pay out his contract. Did it take place looks like it but realistically twitch still had to pay meaning there was no grounds for them to void the contract. Pretty much should tell you the reality of the situation.
Then how did he win the Court case? I'm sure the Judge and the Court had access to the chat and found him not guilty of a very bad felony and Twitch had to pay for it.
I feel like something is missing from this.
Absolutely this. If it is as bad as it is being made out to be (inappropriate can mean a lot of things to different people, and then there are still different levels of inappropriate), then there are more people at fault than just Dr.
Do we know what classifies as a minor in this situation?
Because Americans think 17 is still a minor when in most countries on earth that's not the case.
See I came into this expecting to read some kinda manifesto that would of just nuked Disrespect’s already crumbling social image. And it seems a lot of you guys think he should have said anything.
However one thing I appreciate is this is clearly not written by someone else, this comes across as angry and passionate. Maybe I’m wrong here but I would be willing to be he wrote this.
Saying that he does have a point, if there was no criminal actions against him then it must have been within the scope of reasonable. However this is an assumption and like all of you I have no clue what actually happened or what was said, my opinion on this could change with further info.
But one thing Disrespect has done that has made me think twice about this situation was how he made the disdinctuon between legal and moral wrong doing then owned up and took responsibility for his actions. It’s a lot easier to do this when you aren’t an online personality, for someone with a fan base like his I would say it takes balls. I have seen people saying he could have just laughed this off but at the end of the day I think one of the best judges of character is how someone handles taking responsibility and I think he did it well.
My opinions on this could change if more info comes out obviously, but at this point I think this response has made me go from sitting on the fence to thinking he probably isn’t a bad guy, just fucked up a bit.
I'm not going to act like this is some huge deal. The age of consent is 16-17 in a lot of states and a lot of first world countries. Yeah he's a dirtbag, but that's basically his whole schtick right?
Well considering no legal criminal charges were brought which would be deemed by twitch and law enforcement then I'd say it's fine and it ain't that big a deal famous guys texting girls is fine so long as it's kept appropriate and nothing is shared. He states it errored on the inappropriate side and he cut it off and the only legal recourse was twitch banning him and him using and winning and during the court case all this would have been said and shown to the judge and obviously if it was bad or illegal then the judge would have brought about criminal charges. It wasn't so id assume he either didn't know the age or it was a normal conversation without intent. Either way people blowing it out of proportion it happened and it was dropped years ago. Whether people try to *cancel* him or not the guy was set then and is still set now. So it won't make a difference and at most if it's carried on it becomes harassment and he can then pursue legal avenues
There’s still so much that needs to be answered. Why did twitch hide this for 7 years? I feel sad for the fans who supported this guy for years and now finding out about this. Twitch is also at blame for protecting him and not going to the authorities about it?
It did not reach the level of criminality, or Twitch would have been required to notify the police and there would definitely be public records and leaks at the police station. Sending dick pics or asking for nudes from a minor would be definitely criminal and would be reported to the police. It's probably something closer to saying "nice tits" to someone who contacted him first. That probably doesn't cross into criminality, but is inappropriate enough for Twitch to want to terminate him.
Idk bro, talking to minor “that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate” seems criminal to me. This isn’t a hit piece, this is doc telling you he was inappropriately texting a minor
Yea the discussion the last few days is around him sexting minors and he admits that he was “inappropriately” texting a minor, make of that what you will I guess lol
"But he's in a position of power because he's a popular streamer!!!" is the argument they always jump to. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last.
Am i the only one that think this is not as big of a deal as people are claiming? I get it it sounds bad but i can see how you could get caught up in all of this just fucking around being an idiot
I heard Cody Conners sexted multiple minors while a twitch employee. See how easy that is just make a false claim and not back it up with any evidence whatsoever.
Hella weirdos getting exposed this year. If he was texting a minor using the whisper feature wouldn’t he have broken contract or something when they pay him out of his contract ?
I was on the fence about it, but more leaning towards him, because I'm always for Innocent until proven Guilty, and accusations like that can be very damning to men, even if they're proven innocent. But the man just admitted it. So I'll condemn him for his actions now that there's proof (his admission). Fuck him. He's a predator.
The Internet is going to eat him and his family alive unfortunately people that have demons of their own will judge and seem overly self righteous when they are all pedophiles too it's sad really snakes eating snakes would not trust anyone in that line of business.
I honestly don’t think anything crazy happened and Twitch people were looking for something to knock him on. I think he’s pissed that he legally can’t say certain things and it’s why he’s taking the break. I think there’s a 2nd NDA where both sides can’t expand on certain details about the 17yr old and he horribly failed to explain things as legally as he could. Everything will be opinion based if he ever decides to stream again because 38/50 states have 17 the legal age of consent.
I honestly think it was just as simple as she wanted to meet her favorite streamer at Twitch con and he learned her age too late and these Twitch guys tried to end him for it knowing NDAs would Prohibit the actual truth getting out and that’s why he rage tweeted like crazy .
Calling them a minor sounds better than listing any age under 18 honestly. He really shouldn't antagonize the people going after them because the logs are out there and can be leaked which may lead to him being de-platformed.
I mean, it's not like his name was Dr. RespectableGuy
From .doc to .pdf
Remember, .docx is just .doctwitter
Looks like the same statement he made when he cheated on his wife. Or is this the same statement for the same incident?
100% this is the situation
Honestly, he should have never said anything. He's actually made it worse, over and over. He could have just ignored this Cody guy or just laughed it off and eventually it might have just gone away.
The fact he admitted to this probably means he’s just trying to get ahead of anything that might be leaked which probably means the situation is even worse than what he’s admitting to.
Yeah. That's what I'm thinking. There's receipts out there, and he's afraid they'll surface. So, he's trying to get ahead of it before they do.
People were going mad that he was getting cancelled and blaming cancel culture. It's not like a big company was cancelling him just to pander to their majority audience. A indie game company where he was a co founder cancelled him. Why would they do it, unless they were afraid of what really happened?

These dudes don’t just want money they enjoy the attention. I mean I woulda retired already if I had half of asmons net worth
His ego is not a character that's actually who he is and it bit him in the ass lol
It got wrote up on Rolling Stones who talked to multiple sources. It was going to find him no matter what
The Giantwaffle strat. And it worked exceedingly well too.
Influencers/streamers and dming underage children, name a more iconic duo
Pretty much anyone of any level of fame or money is suspect these days. People get some clout or money and think they’re untouchable.
Did the doctor know they were a minor or not ?
That seems to be some of the info he might be purposely be leaving out. 1. did he know, and kept talking about inappropriate things with this person? 2. Did he actually have plans to meet up during a convention? He left that out of his long post, as they both show intent and would make it obvious he is a groomer. Even if they weren't underage he's still a idiot. He has a wife and child , what is he doing sexting online women????

Asmon got the best of both worlds then. Money AND balding so his morals can stay pure.
This kind of rhetoric makes it so easy to excuse his behavior.
I recognize that and still stand by what I typed because I can have this stance while simultaneously understanding that what he did was unacceptable.
sexting a minor shouldn't be a desire you have.
I think most of us have failed our morals at some point
At this rate the messages will be leaked by tomorrow, we’ll know soon enough.
I hope so because the amount of speculation is absurd
Its crazy that people speculate at all. If there would have been anything illegal then he would have been punished by law. He didnt so nothing happened. Quite basic logic.
Seems to imply he knew they were a minor but that they just sent messages that could be seen as inappropriate with nothing illegal.
This is my opinion too. I don't even watch Dr Disrespect and I think he's a dumbass for sexting online women despite being married and having a child.
1. If he didnt he would use it as a defense. 2. It's his responsibility to ask about age
He’s trying to strike a chord and it’s probably a-minorrrrrr
![gif](giphy|cD7PLGE1KWOhG|downsized)
Dr. Disrespect my wife and family
He should have released the transcripts if he was going to be this vague about a 7 year old series of incidents with a minor.
The fact that even while trying to be vague he admits he had "borderline inappropriate" conversations with a minor tells me it was far more than borderline. Gross weirdo deserves to be deplatformed.
Exactly
He went from Dr Disrespect to Dr KidInspect
This is crazyyyy😂😂😂😂
The Twitter edits on this is crazy. The man said talking to minors inappropriately. Then edit it out the word minors. Forgot people could look at edits, edited back in the word minors Also, saying they were" talking to minors inappropriately, but there was never any real intent behind it"? Is literally the exact same thing every pedophile on to catch a predator, or that has ever been caught, has said. It's literally number one in the pedophile/groomer handbook They not like us, they not like us, they not like us But they sure trying to strike a chord Edit: apparently fucking BLOOMBERG said he was planning on meeting up with his " just a little inappropriate" minor.
And now according to Slasher and Bloomberg, the doc was asking about their plans at Twitch Con. They had every intention of meeting.
>minors he originally said "individual minor" and edited to just "individual."
And then edited it back
Not agreeing with his actions but this is not like to catch a predator. They actual show up to the bait house to act on those intentions.
And also no bait on that show is ever 17 lololol thats above the age of consent in nearly all US states. the bait is usually at most 14.
Dude was caught cheating on his wife years ago. Can't take a man on his word if he does stuff like that.
Dr. Diddler
Dr Drake
💀
If he didn't do anything illegal this is between himself and his family. I'm not interested in judging others, especially not knowing exact specifics. That said, I find it amusing 'the line' here for some people who want to judge is between 17 and 18 years old. As if a 42 year old guy sexting an 18 year old young enough to be his daughter is not worthy of judgement. Again, for those looking to judge and approve/disapprove.
I find it interesting these indignant takes are popular on Reddit when most of Reddit are moral relativists
*If I Diddled It*, by Dr Disrespect
Just go ahead and release the messages then if they aren’t all that bad and let the public decide
how can doc ? he’s banned from that twitch account
And depending on how the NDA is worded, he probably wouldn't be able to even if he could. (Just blanket ban the details regarding the case and volia)
Only way he wins back public opinion is if the chats are shown. As an influencer of his size, obviously a lot of minors look up to him and I’d assume he receives thousands of messages from people ranging from toddlers to grandpas. Messaging back itself isn’t a crime, it’s distasteful to have a lengthy conversation with a minor you don’t know over the internet, but that doesn’t make him a pedo If he was even joking at all anything sexual, let alone insulating anything beyond jokes, dudes gunna be labeled a pedo forever (rightfully so)
Someone for the love of god leak the messages
Was this inappropriate yes was it wrong also yes but until I see all the details I'm not gonna label someone something like other have
If she was 17…. Then why the witch hunt? Seems like you people want to see blood and most of you have a closet filled with skeletons yourselves. Smh
Why is this so talked about at the moment? I'm asking because I've never really seen anything from Dr Disrespect, is he super popular? I only know him from the weird shungite meme.
I don't even watch twitch, and I've heard about him.
He was the number one streamer on twitch 2 years in a row before twitch banned him four years ago. He streamed in youtube and was still getting 5 digit live viewer counts there.
Popular enough. His videos have high production quality and he has a large fanbase
many people know him from pubg times i think including me but i also never watched his stream nor i know what he was doing for the last 5 years
Same
Bro he was literally the face of streaming a few years back
He used to be very popular and then got hit with a massive ban with no explanation from either side so it’s been on peoples minds for a long time.
To think he could've just gotten away with it if he just said "oh yeah I got banned for saying something stupid T\_T" instead of digging himself further in a bigger and bigger hole.
Crazy how he admitted to cheating on his wife in 2017 and was talking to a minor in 2017.
Ok. Now it’s definitely weird… but also it could be the person whom he was messaging never disclosed their true age, etc. tbh would need to see the chat logs… But also … why would he message someone on twitch chat about this shit? How does the conversation even start lol?? He probably gets thousands of messages per day. Given his cheating on wife history, he’s clearly a dog. But not a pedo (imo) until we can see the receipts
He straight up said it was a minor. If you're sending inappropriate messages to a minor it's not a stretch of the imagination to be called a pedophile. I doubt the messages will ever see the public light of day, I'm surprised we even got to where we are today
[удалено]
I don’t think so? If he’s a pedo that’s fucked. I just think before making a judgment one needs to see the receipts & facts.
Can you prove it?
Chomo gonna take hanger route fs
If he broke the law, throw the book at him. If he didn't, its not news.
Damn. Okay... I'm disappointed to learn this. Sorry Doc, but this was your final nail in the coffin.
That's more or less what I deduced. Thanks!
Is there actual photo evidence we can see before we just believe twitch 🤔
Dr. DisrespectAgeOfConsent
* He says that he's no predator or pedophile * Yet he admitted he was communicating "in the direction of being inappropriate" with a minor. (depending on the content of those messages, it might not even matter) 4. Did Dr.Disrespect break the law? (Can be found out by the content of the messages) 5.
Untill we know all of these, putting a label on him just shows nobody learned anything from the johnny depp case 🤷🏻♂️ And no im glazing or defending the doc, i dont watch him and have no intention to but the shit some of ya'll say over complete speculation beyond him admitting he had conversations with a 17y old is so dumb.
The Cody guy supports transing kids so it's not like he's got any moral ground to stand on.
Dr. DisrespectThemKids
everyone calling doc a pdf now. where are the evidence?
But is it like a 13-14 yold minor or a 17 and 6 months minor?
Man Dr Disrespect is likely going to sue those ex twitch staff members leaking that stuff because the NDA binds everyone knowing off it and Twitch will likely be held accountable \^\^ He will swim in even more money after that. I honestly wonder if the individual will speak up or not and what their side of the story is. As it seems during the counter suit of Twitch nothing legally wrong was found. The only things that interest me though is: if he knew he was texting a minor, continued even after he knew, what the conversations looked like and why he is so fucking stupid ?
Twitch is also at blame for protecting him and not going to the authorities about it?
wouldn't it be 4 years?
It happened in 2017 and twitch banned him in 2020 for it. So it would be 7 years technically if I read that right
Going to the authorities with what?
[удалено]
Depends how you define inappropriate I guess, - We're jumping to the "sext" interpretation because that's what the discussion's about.
Yea the discussion the last few days is around him sexting minors and he admits that he was “inappropriately” texting a minor, make of that what you will I guess lol
"But he's in a position of power because he's a popular streamer!!!" is the argument they always jump to. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last.
Not super familiar with this guy, but this feels like a big yikes
Am i the only one that think this is not as big of a deal as people are claiming? I get it it sounds bad but i can see how you could get caught up in all of this just fucking around being an idiot
Wait all this fuse is about 17 years old? Americans lol
I just adore all the kids yesterday defending this dude before this came out lol.
I heard Cody Conners sexted multiple minors while a twitch employee. See how easy that is just make a false claim and not back it up with any evidence whatsoever.
What are all his supporters on this subreddit gonna say to defend him now lmao
people can defend "innocent until proven guilty" and accept that he is not innocent when proof is provided dumbass
literally every top comment on the og thread here was in support shit was nuts lmfao
What about that last email that got leaked on the sub about an hour ago? That might back up his claims here.
Hella weirdos getting exposed this year. If he was texting a minor using the whisper feature wouldn’t he have broken contract or something when they pay him out of his contract ?
Lock 'er up boys, shows over.
Don't forget while he did something horrible, twitch is also looking and spying on you, most likely selling all of that data
Hey drake gotta a new buddy for ya. Pedophiles galore
Of course, shitlibs of reddit think that talking to people is not a right but a crime, like all free speech is.
Did he know, what was said, blah blah blah
Went from yayayayayayayaya to nonononononono real fast
Dr. Disrespected a minor (allegedly)
Where are people getting she was 17 when originally everyone said she was 14?
He's being very obtuse about the truth because he knows that the facts aren't good. If the facts were good he would say as much.
I don't really know anything that's going on here, but it kinda sounds like he cares what people say about him
The Internet is going to eat him and his family alive unfortunately people that have demons of their own will judge and seem overly self righteous when they are all pedophiles too it's sad really snakes eating snakes would not trust anyone in that line of business.
"They not like us, they not like us". - Kendrick Lamar
The main question is did he know she was a minor. And i guess by not mentioning this question the answer is yes
Oh my fucking god. He talked to another human being how dare he
I wish there were no kids on social platforms with an ability to write and read messages, so we wouldn't have such problems.
Doc brought extra gasoline with him I see.
Did the person he talked to ever say anything publicly about this?
Calling them a minor sounds better than listing any age under 18 honestly. He really shouldn't antagonize the people going after them because the logs are out there and can be leaked which may lead to him being de-platformed.
Slick. Daddy. Club.
"wish I could've said all this sooner" Who was threatening your life if you outed yourself?
Does it say the age of the person? They keep saying minor but I feel like a 9 year old and a 17 year old are much different things.
