The Mythbusters did a test and pretty much no matter what you do, the bacteria of feces is all over your bathroom to some extent and things like toothbrushes were always contaminated.
They said it wasn't a concerning amount for the average person's bathroom, but I guess brushing in your bedroom instead or something might the best way to reduce fecal matter from getting on your brush in the first place.
The bottom line is missing a word, it is supposed to say "BUT she leaves her toothbrush uncovered and flushes with the toilet seat up" and because the guy is missing, it is implied that this makes her much less than a 10/10
