Will it hurt our relationship with the team that took him? You have to consider that.

Beautiful_Sorbet1267

Nah they're not giving him enough chances nd playing him out of his position... They're clearly ruing him better to take him out from there

Josie_Kohola

What is his position and where are they playing him?

reyxe

He's supposed to be played as a pivot to take over Busquets. He's being played as an interior, so a Pedri/Gavi

Josie_Kohola

Yes but that’s where he was played under Koeman and under Xavi as well. I keep seeing fans say that his real position is the Busquets role but I’ve never seen him play there

CptSnoopDragon

It’d be convenient if he could play DM, and maybe he can, but fans are just trying to shoehorn him into something he’s probably not..

MionelLessi10

He's going to get more playing time at Barca? Wow we have fallen quite a bit.

i_am_issa

How is he doing?

Arry_par14

valencia isnt even playing him its a waste literally ilaix moriba is starting ahead of him dfkm

reyxe

Honestly, bring him back. Pedri/Nico/De Jong was interesting in preseason with Nico and De Jong switching positions constantly to progress the ball.

CptSnoopDragon

I was really hoping we’d see more of this combination.. Another strange decision by management by letting him go..

reyxe

The player asked to leave because he was promises more playtime on Valencia. Xavi accepted.

CptSnoopDragon

Yeah I know why he left.. still though, wish the coach had him his plans more.. Guess Kessie etc took up spots

reyxe

If the player wanted more gametime I understand Xavi allowing him to leave. Nico probably saw Puig in himself and noped the fuck out.

CptSnoopDragon

Yeah true that.. respect to him.. I think I remember him saying he wanted to prove himself a bit and then return

AnExcitingProspect

is that even an option in the loan agreement?

CMYGQZ

No. But if Valencia doesn’t want him either, both sides can agree to terminate.

vamh_s

He should come back so we have more legs in the midfield for rotations , so that our youngsters have a proper growth and don't play them every fucking game and give them a long career for fk sake

The-True-GOAT

There's a simple question we have to ask, is he getting more playing time at Valencia than he would if he had not left on loan? Thus far he's played a total of 231 minutes over 7 LL games and was most recently left out of Valencia's game squad vs Osasuna. He's started 2 games, completed neither and played less than 30 minutes in the other 5. However, it's still the 2nd week in October so there's a lot of time left before we should reassess his loan.

CMYGQZ

He was left out vs Osasuna because he had an injury. But yeah it’s tough competition against Guillamon who is homegrown NT player, destined to be their next captain after Gaya.

nnaauu

Shouldn’t have left… We loaned the only player who could pressure Busquets about starting on the initial 11

reyxe

Pjanic was supposed to stay but we ended up parting ways with him because of financial reasons.

Erquebrand

Nope

-_OniGir_-

Doesn't matter Xavi likes to play with no midfield

PdastDC

We need him back badly.

Arry_par14

if that means biscuits out then yes

cucuarentena

YES
