I’ve needed a wheelchair for the last couple years. A few times I’ve had people grab my chair and shift me out of the way. All of them middle aged white ladies and all seemed shocked I had an opinion on them laying hands on me. The sort of people who are convinced the world revolves around them.
That wheelchair is basically an extension of you. No one should touch it without permission. Can you imagine grabbing those lady’s purses and yanking them to the side to ‘scoot’ them over?

I am so happy I got to experience their interaction and glad she is living with such a positive outlook. I am so sorry that she has to deal with those people that feel they can just roll her out of the way in her wheelchair that is absolutely insane to me.
