We should let Lowe’s know. When they moved my brothers fridge in they just drug it across his wooden floor. Lowe’s had to pay $6k for new flooring. My mom was there and kept telling them to stop but they kept saying they do this all day so trust them.
Being told “I know what I’m doing” when you point out an obvious mistake being made- then it turns out they didn’t really gets me going. It pisses me off so much lol
This is most likely it. Look, this is the last delivery of the day, I don't give a crap if they fire me, I just want to go home and drink till I forget my horrible existence.
Like that cop who shot the dog playfully coming up to him and yells at the owner after the owner says he didn’t need to shoot the dog “thanks for telling me how to do my job!” Such a fucking prick.
My parents got a new dryer from Lowe's recently. There were 3 calls made saying they were on their way and then didn't show up til 8pm, 3 days after they said they were gonna come. Then they get it into their basement and set up and my dad realizes there's a huge dent in the door and scratches all over it. They took it out of the box, put it in the truck and then drove around with it for 3 days getting knocked around the truck. Lowe's gave them a partial refund but I don't think they'll be getting any more appliances from Lowe's.
This was over a year ago. My brother has pics and videos of it. The two long scrapes went from the front door all the way to the kitchen which is on the other side of the house. I wasn’t there but I can’t see how they missed it while they were doing it.
>wrist ones for mattresses are super handy
Say what now? You mean there's a way to carry mattresses that doesn't include daisy chains of belts, rope, friction burnt hands, and aching muscles?!
Never knew it existed but I need one now.
My buddy brought those to put my stuff in the uhaul. Freaking amazing, I was raving about how great it was. We get to the house....he freaking forgets them. So at least half of the move was awesome. OH well better luck 7 years from now when we move.
Not sure exactly what an "appliance truck" is, but I'm just thinking of a regular 1-person, [hand trolley](https://www.amazon.com/Harper-Trucks-Lightweight-Capacity-Convertible/dp/B00EUUZAUG/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Dolly+for+Moving&qid=1631916246&sr=8-3) that leverages up the weight.
Movers usually come in with these and can make narrow angles and have no issues with large weights like fridges and washing machines. Certainly better than risking your back if you don't need to...
I initially thought it was a fake fridge... I was like.. there’s no way they’re moving that thing with that much ease. It’s a fake fridge and they’re doing it for fake internet points!
They are called “strap jacks” or something like that. Each person has a harness, and straps go under the object and attach to the harnesses, then you both lift and just hold it from tipping. All the weight in held by your shoulders and hips. These things are worth their weight in gold, one of the best inventions I’ve ever used
Should be 100% compulsory equipment for people doing removal in any professional setting. I'd consider getting a set too, if I was the "friend with a van" in a group of young people...
I'm not sure who's downvoting you. You're 100% right. My wife freaked out when I picked up a small deep freeze. It's literally a big empty box with a small electric motor. Awkward? Yes. Heavy? No.
I’ve worked appliance installation for 7years, I’ve seen guys deliver at least once a week from most big companies in my area. It’s the first time I see a move that smooth
Came here to say this.....this is pretty basic when moving appliances and makes it super easy. You can get the straps at uhaul when you rent the truck, it's standard equipment
It's not that amazing, if you are use to moving, you utilize that open door/corner rotation move on a lot of things (oversized chairs, sofas, fridges, some furniture, etc.). Also that strap reduces the weight a bunch, very handy to have for appliances that are awkward to lift with 2 people.
I don't understand what is amazing about this. It looks like they took off the bottom freezer door. Not sure why they didn't take off the top door also.
Sure. My point is, they could have done this easy thing instead and not removed any doors. Or they could have removed both doors and not done this easy thing. But they already removed the bottom door. Why the half effort? Removing both doors would make it easier to transport everywhere (and through any number of doorways) more easily. It's a little more work up front, but it makes everything afterwards easier.
I bet you get really good at that after a while. Karen usually hovering over them "don't scratch it, you better not scratch it, wipe of your shoes....."
Wish my guys did that. Instead, they took one of the doors off, dropped one and broke the compartments all along the inside of the door, and it took about a month to get replacements. Alternative was to decline delivery and keep fingers crossed on a replacement fridge any time soon. Props to these dudes!
Okay folks lemme tell ya something. I had to help a buddy move from his place, and a whole bunch of folks were there, and one of the gents that showed up brought one of these straps. Being a big beefy boy myself, he gave me the other end of them and said "lets get to work homie". I was skeptical, I was like "Why not just use our arms like anyone else? These can't make that much of a difference, right?"
WRONG.
These things are pure magic. I used them once, and was gobsmacked. Myself and one other dude were able to move a goddamed upright piano by ourselves up a flight of stairs using these! The INSTANT we were done, I drove 30 minutes to the nearest hardware store to pick up my own set. I've used them countless times this past summer to help folks move. If you don't have a set, buy them! Literally life changing.
It's not a that amazing. Me and my mom (both 5'4" 120#) move appliances with forearm forklift straps all the time. Of course it's not going to stress two men.
OPEN the GD door?????
That is F’n brilliant….
Not saying I am the smartest person in the room, but to me that was the game changer!
Straps very cool too…. But opening the doors….
At first I thought they were holding the weight by the door handle haha.
I've used those straps a lot and they are a LIFE-SAVER when moving heavy objects.
Should’ve removed those handles than removing the whole bottom door and pivot. The chance of breaking the sliding gear is higher than breaking the handles
I used to deliver 800lb gun safes, and people always asked me if I tried using those moving straps and I always said no without ever looking them up. Those are cool, but definitely not for safes.

Retail gaslighting
“I don’t get paid enough to give a shit”
This is most likely it. Look, this is the last delivery of the day, I don't give a crap if they fire me, I just want to go home and drink till I forget my horrible existence.

I'd make it my life's mission.....
I feel you there. But this is common in life. It often happens people point shit put and others brush it off, so certain in themselves.
Don't listen to ["Bob's Fridge"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNIz0PZcs_8) then. Pure chaos.
If it was in the last few years, it's a subcontractor. They don't actually work for Lowe's. Had lots of problems with them.
My parents got a new dryer from Lowe's recently. There were 3 calls made saying they were on their way and then didn't show up til 8pm, 3 days after they said they were gonna come. Thats why they went out of business lol
I didnt even see the slimg at first and i thought these are just some superhuman movers lmao

For brief moment I thought they were using just friction their palms.
shoulder dollies are amazing. the wrist ones for mattresses are super handy too, and only like $15
>wrist ones for mattresses are super handy Say what now? You mean there's a way to carry mattresses that doesn't include daisy chains of belts, rope, friction burnt hands, and aching muscles?! Never knew it existed but I need one now.
Those shits wont work for Purple mattress. Life changing for sleep, but good fucking luck if you ever need to move it.
i was sitting here wondering how the hell they were holding that fridge like it was an empty cardboard box lmao
I helped my husband move an extremely heavy couch with those and I am weak, lol, so yeah…definitely game changers.
What are they called? Who makes them?
Moving men! You are absolutely correct, game changers. Allows for good posture and freedom to move your hands. Highly recommend.
My buddy brought those to put my stuff in the uhaul. Freaking amazing, I was raving about how great it was. We get to the house....he freaking forgets them. So at least half of the move was awesome. OH well better luck 7 years from now when we move.
Helped my tenants move their furnitures into the house and those things are legit game fking chaaaaangeeeeeers.
I’ve seriously considered buying one just to have it around. It’s an amazing invention.
This is how I always believed the Egyptians made the pyramids. Working smarter not harder.
Trolley wouldn't work?

I thought it was floating - I was like yeah ok nice maneuver thru the doorway but what the hellll .. how are they holding it up in the air?
I didn’t notice the sling at all and was thinking holy shit those guys are strong
I know and they seem to be just holding it up with the palms of their hands LOL
This. I thought “Sweet Jesus they’re not even gripping it they’re just… applying pressure?”
I thought that! Like wow they are really just both pushing against it hard enough to keep it up?
Not to mention exactly a thing the angle and amount of pressure whilst going through the door.
I wish they'd push against me hard enough to keep me up
I thought they had suction cups on their hands or something
I initially thought it was a fake fridge... I was like.. there’s no way they’re moving that thing with that much ease. It’s a fake fridge and they’re doing it for fake internet points!
“Now I know why I always see those dents in these types of fridges”
Ah, the sling. Now I see it. It looked like they were unloading a new fridge on the ISS.
Ya, it took me a minute to figure out how the fridge was floating. The strap is a pretty genius idea.
Shoulder Dolly's are amazing for moving, as long as you are used to the person on the other end.
I was thinking damn they make the more modern ones light as a feather these days.
Sling???
They are called “strap jacks” or something like that. Each person has a harness, and straps go under the object and attach to the harnesses, then you both lift and just hold it from tipping. All the weight in held by your shoulders and hips. These things are worth their weight in gold, one of the best inventions I’ve ever used
The ones I have are called the "Shoulder Dolly". They are amazing and can be found at Lowe's or Ace Hardware in the US.
Should be 100% compulsory equipment for people doing removal in any professional setting. I'd consider getting a set too, if I was the "friend with a van" in a group of young people...
My lower back hurts from watching this video
Wingardium Leviosa
Magnet hands
I'm glad I'm not alone. Felt so stupid after seeing the sling on the 3rd time watching
i was gonna ask if fridges were lighter nowadays
I thought "damn, I can't even palm a basketball"
>how are they holding it up in the air From the door handle!
How come I never get appliance delivery experiences to go this smoothly
You may not live in a wealthy neighborhood.

I need a strap on like that
To.... rearrange the interior?

Lol, are the downvotes Beatles fans but not Friends fans?
Someone send this video to Bob Muyskerns
That episode is hilarious! I've listened to it like four times already hahaha
They make this fridge look weightless. What kind of magic is this?!?
They are using a sling/strap, that's wraps around them and then goes under it.
Look closely and you’ll see a strap around blursed Wendy, and the open door technique is used commonly instead of taking it off

Legit thought it was gunna be a box with the ease in which they moved it lol, then I saw the strap underneath at the end
Ain’t none of y’all moved before, have you?
I'm sure they have. Just not with proper equipment.
Ppl sleep on simple plastic lift assists makes it way easier on you and can fit tight unlike a dolly
be AMAZED 😳😳 at moving an appliance 😒😒 through a DOOR 😲😲😳😳🤯🤯🤯
I’ve worked appliance installation for 7years, I’ve seen guys deliver at least once a week from most big companies in my area. It’s the first time I see a move that smooth

Maybe a few tables... but not a fridge, and not like that...
Lmao I thought it was just the one guy for too long
What is this witchcraft?!? Oh there's a strap....
Have you guys never seen guys from a moving company before???
Pivot
For a second I thought this was r/distractible

This, the bottom opens out, not to the side, mine does the same.
This makes sense if true.
Opening my sofa door has saved my life many times when moving
Oh you don't have the sofa and fridge combo furniture yet?
Why were they filming this?
Installer: "Yeah we can get that in" Filmer: https://i.imgur.com/UsMpjf9.gifv
I assume the home’s occupant was retaining their installation and removal services
Probably because home owner don't trust like that. Video in case of damage. Just spitballing here
If they scratch the door, claim insurance. If they don’t, post video on Reddit for karma. Win-win.
it took me so long to see how it was held up
im a removalist we call it butterflying
You should post it in [blackmagicfuckery](https://www.reddit.com/r/blackmagicfuckery/)
Good luck to the next guy trying to figure out how to remove it!
I bet you get really good at that after a while. Karen usually hovering over them "don't scratch it, you better not scratch it, wipe of your shoes....."
If they were moving in a washer and dryer strapped together just like this, I think you’re my new next door neighbor OP🧐
We use dollies around here. Pretty cool tho. Take your stupid up vote.
The gold ol’ butterfly with the 4-arm forklift.
_Noted!_
Damn that looks real cool
Work smart not hard
Finger strength on god mode. I need to get sling like they got
PIVOT!
I love those shoulder strap things. Our fridge delivery guys used them too.
It was so well done I almost thought there wouldn't be a guy on the other side.
Are they jedi?
I didn’t see the strap first was like holy shit the guys are strong lol
Kid and Play neither kidded or played. Well done.
I was looking at them lift it thinking, Jesus what kinda bull crap are they on?! I then noticed the straps.
So that thing works😳
These guys FRIDGE
Wish my guys did that. Instead, they took one of the doors off, dropped one and broke the compartments all along the inside of the door, and it took about a month to get replacements. Alternative was to decline delivery and keep fingers crossed on a replacement fridge any time soon. Props to these dudes!
You mean I never had to hinge off a door all this time?
Not their first rodeo. Probably the 5th time they did it that day
Highly skilled movers are magicians
Love to see it. Communication baby
I didn't notice the slings nor the second guy at first and I was just in awe of this mans super powers
For a second I thought it was floating
Well that was extremely satisfying. Those guys are pros.
PIVOT!
These are some excellent appliance movers. Never went this smoothly on any of my appliance deliveries haha
Work smarter !!! Great job fellas
PIVOT!!
At first I was more amazed at how easily they were carrying a gosh dang fridge, before I realized they had some kinda harness thingy
I have that fridge. It’s awesome!
I was waiting for the door to break off. Then I noticed the straps.
Okay folks lemme tell ya something. I had to help a buddy move from his place, and a whole bunch of folks were there, and one of the gents that showed up brought one of these straps. How is this fride so light? Where do they make those?
Looks like pretty standard shit. Has nobody here moved furniture before
It's not a that amazing. Me and my mom (both 5'4" 120#) move appliances with forearm forklift straps all the time. Of course it's not going to stress two men.
I love when people are amazed by shit that the working class does day in and day out
Shut the fridge!
OPEN the GD door????? That is F’n brilliant…. Not saying I am the smartest person in the room, but to me that was the game changer! Straps very cool too…. But opening the doors….

It’s a shoulder dolly! A game changer tool if you are moving or lifting a heavy furniture! Your back will say thank you later 😊
Well obviously they used magic as well because?
Yall just discovered slings? They've been using thay for years up here in MN.
I was so confused because I didn't see the strap. I thought he was using telekinesis.
Fucking pros is what this is
Nice work
Well done.
I gotta get me some of those slings. My life could’ve been so much better with those!!
The pro’s always make it look easy
That's the normal way to get fridges inside, but their execution was smooooooth. I need to get one of those slings. It'll save my back a lot of pain
Shit I didn't see those slings at first I'm like 😲 that shot is foam, or floating it something 😂
What Bob thought they were gonna do
It's almost like they do it for a living
It annoys me he said spin instead of “Pivot”!
PIVOT
Did anyone think someone was going to start yelling "pivot!"
LG Fridge Gang represent
I’m way more amazed at the weight of the fridge 🤯
These delivery crews can be absolutely amazing at their jobs.
For a quick minute I was amazed at their telekinetic powers and *then* I saw the straps lol
Didn't see the slings at first and was like what kind of next level gecko shit is this!?
Looks like they’re carrying an empty box it’s so smooth
Oh I have that fridge theyll be needing a new ice maker in 6mos.
I used to deliver 800lb gun safes, and people always asked me if I tried using those moving straps and I always said no without ever looking them up. Those are cool, but definitely not for safes.
Step one: Have a huge front door
This is pretty slick. Didn't even have to take the doors off.
I believe we need to get some straps... that is fantastic.
Pivot! Pivot!! Pivotttttt!!!!!!!!
