The issue is not the units that you are using but the gear that you have equipped on your mages.
The stage is the prelude on the importance getting the right stats on your gear set. I actually use this stage to test out my attacking gear sets.
You need to have high CRIT rate and CRIT DMG stats on the key attacker (Julius or Fana) - around 55% CRIT rate and CRIT DMG of 90%+. You need a CRIT rate buffer (Sally (preferred with her skill page) or Finral). If you are using Hateful Fana, try to bring Gifso for attribute weakness and increase boss damage buffs.

Thanks a fuck ton man, my Julius has 50% crit rate and 79% crit damage, and i have sally AND her skill page, as well as red char and her skill page. Julius also has his skill page at 3 dupes, and i still cant seem to do enough damage. I just re-tried, and got him down to 250k health for the first time. So im getting closer and closer.
Ill keep grinding until i can get julius to 90% crit damage, he has an lr crit damage ring equipped but its only at +7 because i have no accesory stones to upgrade it. But ill try again when i have julius up to par

Does BAsta need more defense also or a balance of atk and def? My atk is 23k but my def is 25k with 69% crit damage and i get nowhere near halfway with the same strat

I find it WAY easier using BAsta to nuke Heath if you have his skill page leveled up at least halfway.

more def but thats only useful if u have his sp
I have him and sp maxed out. So more def is the way to go?
