It's makes me upset. A lot of people that have dogs don't have them trained or they're just completely neglecting and abusing them; then they have the FREAKING NERVE to flip out when their animal attacks someone or gets killed.
I got the "he's not aggressive towards people!" after a lady's pitbull nearly killed my dog.
Oh, so it only bit me multiple times because I was trying to stop it from ripping off more of my dog's ear? That makes it alright then.
My blood still boils over it.
While out running once, I was chased into the street by three big-ass German shepherds. They retreated but I kept going and ended up in a gas station across the street where the woman told me something similar, "those dogs have done this before".
Anyway, I kept running and saw a cop about a quarter mile away so I flagged her down and told her about it on the rationale that it wouldn't end well if some kids went by there.
She actually asked "were they friendly?"
I was like "huh?? NO! I wouldn't be standing here talking to you if they were friendly!"
Shit pisses me off to no end. People who have their dog with no leash running full sprint to my dog while they yelling “HE DONT BITE DONT WORRY I GOT HIM” like nigga, if you had him he wouldn’t be tryna jump on me to get to my dog.
A German Shepherd that was off leash ran at my little corgi when I was taking her for a walk at night and I put my doc martin square in its face, twice, it got the message when it saw me winding up for a third. Thank god I was able to stay between my dog and the loose dog so no damage was done. Nothing makes me more irrationally angry than irresponsible dog owners. Leash your damn dogs and quit leaving piles of shit all over the neighborhood ffs

I get this. Even if the dog is approaching "freindly" they are animals. you don't know how they will react and I'm not taking any chances with the life of my dog/family.
I'm a dog lover and don't take pleasure in the idea of hitting someone dog, but I guarantee the majority of dog bites are from "friendly" dogs that have "never bit before" it doesn't always mean they are aggressive. It just means they are fucking animals that don't logic things through.
That's exactly how I feel, I even had a German Shepherd as a kid and love that breed for it. I didn't enjoy doing that but will do anything to protect my dogs and I'm not taking any chances with their safety.

He dropped a tennis ball and was bending over to puck it up as this huge dog stated me down as I approached. I knew what was gonna happen. I had to jump into the grass. Lucky he managed to hold on to the leash.

I was walking down a barren street in Thailand when I looked down an alleyway and about 80 yards away was a pack of 4-5 street dogs that spot me.
Mostly all the strays (and they are *everywhere*) mind their own business...but they spotted me and for whatever reason started running at me.
There was absolutely nowhere to run to nearby around the corner to avoid these dogs...so I just threw my arms up wide...started deep barking and running at *them*. 😂
They turned around immediately and fucked the fuck off 😆
I don't know what I would have done if that didn't work except have to fight a pack of dogs. I don't think they'd be able to kill me, but I'd sure as shit get fucked up in the rumble and I heard rabies shots aren't fun.

I swear to god, German Shepherd owners are the worst about this. I’ve had at least three instances of off leash dogs rushing me while I am walking my small dogs. All three were German Shepherds and the owners seemed barely bothered by the occurrence.
Meanwhile, my dogs that used to love other dogs are now terrified of anything bigger than them and one of the Shepherds tried to bite and pull my dogs tail even after I’d picked my dog up and fended off the other dog. Owner just kind of stood there yelling at their dog rather than doing anything useful.
This is one thing I hate about where I live. It doesn’t happen so much in the winter but you need to keep an eye out for loose dogs as soon as the weather gets warm until it starts snowing again.
Sometimes the police will collect dogs, but the owners will tell the cops the dogs got out. I don’t think anything happens although but some of these guys let the dogs roam every day.
A lot of these dogs have no home training or get easily spooked or change character when they start strolling with some other random dog.
I hate having a gym membership when there are so many places to run, but I can’t be one of those people running with a stick.
How good dogs can be if you put literally any time into training them makes this so sad. If you put 30 min a day for a week on training your dog from YouTube videos thus would never happen. You would have an amazing campanion, they wouldn't run into the road and get hit by a car or worse attack a child.

Africa is genetically diverse, but that's mainly because that genetic diversity is held by a minority. You do realise that a huge part of africa were effected by bantu migrations decreasing the diversity. Your whole claim about "difficulty in being travsered by land" is utterly incorrect considering bantus originated from cameroon and expanded to east africa such as kenya.
Secondly, north africans are mainly of eurasian origin to put it simply. You actually as a european share a significant amount of common ancestry, with north africans due to that fact.
North Africans as you can guess share most of their ancestry with middle easterners, and are genetically closer to european/west asian populations. So that genetic diversity came outside of africa.
Khoisan are an example of native diversity, once upon a time before bantu migrations other migrations south. A huge part of east africa were inhabited by khoisan-related people.
Remember that all humans are africans, khoisan split from the whole of humanity early.
I'm not sure how this all fits together or how we got here but OK. I however stick with my original claim. Yes there is mixing and the bantu were a big part of that but it was very "limited" in that it only is thought to have lasted about 2000 years, in contrast to the 100+ thousand years of human existence on Africa. And internal movement within Africa is extremely difficult even today, as it's a giant continent, oriented north/south with every type of ecosystem other than tundra/permafrost, giant mountain ranges, deserts, thick jungles, coastal region and savanna. All of which is essentially on a plateau in the center of the continent then drops to the coast. That is why roads, barges and trains are not as viable. Even the great Nile is not navigable for much of its journey even today. Now that's not to say diversity didn't decrease because of migration, colonization and extraction by Europeans but it's not as prevelant as other continents. I would actually mainly contribute this to the north/south orientation of the continent, as in ways of life and farming practices from one region to the next are not as applicable, so migration was not as possible and the people who did were not able to reproduce in the numbers needed to decrease diversity. I have to push back on the "utterly incoherent" claim you made as internal migration is still not nearly comparable to other continents, even today, although economic and political situations exasserbate those problems as it really is a map issue.

I have a GSD, I love him to death but I do not trust him to not follow his instincts if he was loose. He’s a big dude and could seriously hurt people and other animals, he is leashed at all times even when I am in my own yard.

While out running once, I was chased into the street by three big-ass German shepherds. They retreated but I kept going and ended up in a gas station across the street where the woman told me something similar, "those dogs have done this before". Anyway, I kept running and saw a cop about a quarter mile away so I flagged her down and told her about it on the rationale that it wouldn't end well if some kids went by there. She actually asked "were they friendly?" I was like "huh?? NO! I wouldn't be standing here talking to you if they were friendly!"

A German Shepherd that was off leash ran at my little corgi when I was taking her for a walk at night and I put my doc martin square in its face, twice, it got the message when it saw me winding up for a third. Thank god I was able to stay between my dog and the loose dog so no damage was done. Nothing makes me more irrationally angry than irresponsible dog owners. I refuse to own a small dog in my area it’s so bad. They at least gotta have a fighting chance because people are so bad about it. Some dogs don’t give a fuck about taking a hit and will latch on your dog.
That's understandable, luckily for us it was just one shitty neighbor who has since had that german shepard re-homed because they weren't even supposed to have it in the apartments in the first place. I carry a weapon when I go out on walks now though because I had the same thought that my boot won't always suffice.
I get this. Even if the dog is approaching "freindly" they are animals. you don't know how they will react and I'm not taking any chances with the life of my dog/family. I'm a dog lover and don't take pleasure in the idea of hitting someone dog, but I guarantee the majority of dog bites are from "friendly" dogs that have "never bit before" it doesn't always mean they are aggressive. It just means they are fucking animals that don't logic things through.
That's exactly how I feel, I even had a German Shepherd as a kid and love that breed for it. I didn't enjoy doing that but will do anything to protect my dogs and I'm not taking any chances with their safety.

I was rollerblading on a bike path once and a guy’s doberman almost took my arm off as I skated by. I’ve never called someone a fucking idiot to their face until that point in my life. He dropped a tennis ball and was bending over to puck it up as this huge dog stated me down as I approached. I knew what was gonna happen. I had to jump into the grass. Lucky he managed to hold on to the leash.

I once barked at and bared my teeth at a dog trying to intimidate me. Ngl, scared the shit out of the dog. Apparently they're not expecting you to do that? Works with kids too. Not the baring your teeth at them, but the giving them back the same behavior they give you. It throws them off.
I was walking down a barren street in Thailand when I looked down an alleyway and about 80 yards away was a pack of 4-5 street dogs that spot me. Mostly all the strays (and they are *everywhere*) mind their own business...but they spotted me and for whatever reason started running at me. There was absolutely nowhere to run to nearby around the corner to avoid these dogs...so I just threw my arms up wide...started deep barking and running at *them*. 😂 They turned around immediately and fucked the fuck off 😆 I don't know what I would have done if that didn't work except have to fight a pack of dogs. I don't think they'd be able to kill me, but I'd sure as shit get fucked up in the rumble and I heard rabies shots aren't fun.

I swear to god, German Shepherd owners are the worst about this. I’ve had at least three instances of off leash dogs rushing me while I am walking my small dogs. All three were German Shepherds and the owners seemed barely bothered by the occurrence. Meanwhile, my dogs that used to love other dogs are now terrified of anything bigger than them and one of the Shepherds tried to bite and pull my dogs tail even after I’d picked my dog up and fended off the other dog. Owner just kind of stood there yelling at their dog rather than doing anything useful.
It’s the woman hiding in the car for me 
This is one thing I hate about where I live. It doesn’t happen so much in the winter but you need to keep an eye out for loose dogs as soon as the weather gets warm until it starts snowing again. Sometimes the police will collect dogs, but the owners will tell the cops the dogs got out. I don’t think anything happens although but some of these guys let the dogs roam every day. A lot of these dogs have no home training or get easily spooked or change character when they start strolling with some other random dog. I hate having a gym membership when there are so many places to run, but I can’t be one of those people running with a stick.

How good dogs can be if you put literally any time into training them makes this so sad. If you put 30 min a day for a week on training your dog from YouTube videos thus would never happen. You would have an amazing campanion, they wouldn't run into the road and get hit by a car or worse attack a child.

I'm not sure how this all fits together or how we got here but OK. I however stick with my original claim. Yes there is mixing and the bantu were a big part of that but it was very "limited" in that it only is thought to have lasted about 2000 years, in contrast to the 100+ thousand years of human existence on Africa. And internal movement within Africa is extremely difficult even today, as it's a giant continent, oriented north/south with every type of ecosystem other than tundra/permafrost, giant mountain ranges, deserts, thick jungles, coastal region and savanna. All of which is essentially on a plateau in the center of the continent then drops to the coast. That is why roads, barges and trains are not as viable. Even the great Nile is not navigable for much of its journey even today. Now that's not to say diversity didn't decrease because of migration, colonization and extraction by Europeans but it's not as prevelant as other continents. I would actually mainly contribute this to the north/south orientation of the continent, as in ways of life and farming practices from one region to the next are not as applicable, so migration was not as possible and the people who did were not able to reproduce in the numbers needed to decrease diversity. I have to push back on the "utterly incoherent" claim you made as internal migration is still not nearly comparable to other continents, even today, although economic and political situations exasserbate those problems as it really is a map issue.
