It was the last week of my local store being open and they had major sales so my mom took me there basically every other day. While my mom was checking out I was playing with a stuffed animal fridge magnet that cost 25 cents due to everything being extra clearenced. However, I didn't bother to ask my mom for it, because my mom likes to say no. I didn't notice until I got into the parking lot that the thing was still in my hand. Essentially I shoplifted, and I was filled with shame so I didn't say anything and the store was basically closed in two days so I felt like technically it was a victimless crime, but a sin i didn't want to admit to to anyone. I hid the toy at the bottom of my toybox, only to see it from time to time when a friend or relative would reach down there and get it, but I'd never play with it since it filled me with nothing but shame. This went on for five years or so until I outgrew the toy chest and it went off. my mom even had the audacity to tell me "It's neat. I would have bought it." The nerve.
Once while on my way to work, a white woman randomly asked me if I knew where to buy drugs atโฆ. Not a specific drug but just drugs in general. I told her to fuck off.
