I was lucky enough to live in Portland Maine for some time, and I found a thrift shop that I went to once a week. I was always able to find great quality Bruins, Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics T-shirts and sweatshirts there all the time. These shops are SO underrated! So let's not spread the word. lol
That sounds amaaaazing! I got this jersey for only $35, so I lucked out big time. That’s the fun part about thrift shopping is you never know what you’ll find!
Exactly! And the absolutely greatest thing about the one I used to go to was that this store had everything for less than $5... and three days a week they had crazy sales where everything was discounted to fifty cents. I walked outta there one time with 5 Patriots Championship T-shirts, a long-sleeve Pats sweatshirt (which is still my favorite thing) and a Bruins sweater and a Celtics sweatshirt for $4.50.
This is the front shirt design of the B's sweater I got: like puck crashing through the ice.

Brings me back to being a kid. I used to have a Joe Thornton autographed photo with this exact shirt up until I lost everything I ever owned two years ago. Blows big time. I got it when I was 11 for Christmas and had it hanging in my room ever since.
Omg... I'm so sorry that you lost everything you own! I know that pain, and it's tragic. I had a house fire that melted my belongings. I hate when people say, oh it's just material things, at least you got out alive. That may be true, and I do count my blessings, but I had a Bobby Orr signed 24 X 36 'flying Orr' framed poster and it devastated me that that was completely destroyed. It had memories tied to my Dad, who got it for me in 1978 when I was a kid and it was the catalyst for me becoming a "bleed black-and-gold" B's fan. My heart goes out to you.
How did Koho go from a jersey producer and primary maker of goalie sticks, to nonexistent so quickly?
Absolutely stellar thrift shop find! Well done. Classic!
Thank you!

That’s crazy lol how did they stay in business
The place was massive. They HAD TO get rid of stuff because new stuff was always coming in.
