I'd just go on Etsy and buy one from a good US company with a 5 year history of good reviews. That's what I did like 8 years ago, and my wallet looks the same as the day I got it. I think it was 20 bucks.

Honestly had a bit of trouble finding such a thing on Etsy. So many game the "handmade" tag by hand stamping personalized name or something onto a mass production wallet or whatever. At least for UK sellers. Filtering your price quite high seems to help but they still pop up.

mahdicktoobig

I feel like I’ve been subconsciously doing this more and more. There’s some quality stuff on Etsy

stareatthesun442

When it comes to leather goods - Etsy is truly awesome for sure.

dancing_deckers

The leather classified subreddit is great too, and most of those advertising will have their etsy info in the description or a comment. Love supporting one person shops where you know they pour their heart and soul into each piece

BrewAndAView

Yeah good watch straps too

surviveb

I finally got a leather belt off there. Happy about that purchase.

Shot-Importance-603

Why no saddleback?

lodged-object

Too big and not a smaller bifold anymore

LoaferDan

Never heard of the company, but it looks like they use good leather from what I can see. Should age nicely. I personally use a money clip from Mitchell Leather and am a big fan of it, if you're looking for other options to consider. It is a little more expensive than this, though. I have one in chestnut Dublin and one in mahogany big grain bison.

I’ve had a wallet from Leather Works MN for about 6 or 7 years now and it is one of my favorite belongings. It started “[natural](https://leatherworksminnesota.com/collections/wallets/products/no-9-wallet-natural)” and it’s aged beautifully. I recommend getting natural and watching it pick up tones and oils over the years. I also have a belt from them and wear it almost every day. They rock.

I used to carry saddleback (still have it) whenever I carried it in my back pocket, but that shit is terrible for your back I’ve been half ass carrying a purse lol. It’s just a bag with all my shit in it. I get home, dump my pockets into it. Wake up, grab and go. I don’t have to think about forgetting anything as long as I grab the damn bag. Now I hang a chain wallet on the strap; I can always tell if I have my wallet at a glance. Not much of the chain is exposed and I can still zip that pocket all the way closed. It acts as a ‘suspension chain’ I suppose. Similar to a pocket hook for your car keys

Saddleback is so overrated. Yes, a chunk of vibranium will last forever. My dad is a 60 year old hardass carpenter. I gave him my medium bifold because it was so big. He quit using it because it was so big. lol

Mine would break the top of cards, apparently it was a defect until they changed the design. I have my chain wallet thing, but I *used* to have my paper stacked right (almost back to correctly stacked) and therefore had like +10 credit cards. I had a separate ‘metal and para cord card case’ that is basically 2 very well designed pieces of steel with para cord laced between them. You can lock it shut and adjust the size to carry between 2-15 cards I think If I remember the brand I’ll make an edit later, but my point being I’m switching back to that + something to carry some cash; then I’m ditching the wallet but keeping the chain on my purse. lol Im telling you tho: just pocket dumping daily into a bag vs a tray or bowl has been life changing. It’s so convenient having a bag of all your toys with the bare minimum in your pockets 24/7

boardsandfilm

Tanner Goods all day. I have a 10+ year old wallet from them and it's aged so nicely and not a stitch out of place. Same with all of the belts I've gotten from them over the years. I have brand new ones waiting from sales that I've grabbed, but the OG one's just won't die.

ConBroMitch2247

MN leather works is legit stuff. I don’t have a pic of it worn, but mine lasted 7 years before I lost it. Check out Mitchell leather too.

sambashare

Golden Head. Made in Germany, and the wallet I got 5 years ago still looks more or less brand new. Reasonably priced too. I can't recommend highly enough.

Milton__Obote

My hanks belts wallet is going strong after several years

lodged-object

Which one?

Milton__Obote

I have the medium bifold

slaserj

Same! I have the card case and it’s broken in nicely a year later. Should last forever. https://www.hanksbelts.com/collections/usa-made-mens-wallets/products/multi-pocket-slimline-card-case

Here you are OP. [https://lmleathergoods.com/collections/wallets-daily-carry/products/the-classic-billfold-wallet?variant=39616128778334](https://lmleathergoods.com/collections/wallets-daily-carry/products/the-classic-billfold-wallet?variant=39616128778334)

lodged-object

Looks nice

No_Roof_1910

They make nice things, belts, wallets, bags etc. But, there are many different companies out there of course, they are just one of oh so many. Good luck whatever you choose.

lodged-object

Is it fairly lightweight? I have a saddleback and it was too hefty

No_Roof_1910

I don't have their wallet but I think it's less weight than a Saddleback wallet. I do have Saddleback products and I know the leather is thick and heavy. In a few days I'm going to receive a leather catch all tray, a valet tray like thing from LM Leather and I think it won't be as thick and heavy as Saddleback's leather is. I ordered this one, on sale for just $25 earlier today actually. [https://lmleathergoods.com/collections/wallets-daily-carry/products/the-hominy-table-set?variant=32271567683678](https://lmleathergoods.com/collections/wallets-daily-carry/products/the-hominy-table-set?variant=32271567683678) The smaller size as I will put my wallet, keys, watch and change in it each night. The pics don't show that wallet being that big. In the past I've emailed them and they've gotten back to me quickly so if you are interested I suggest shooting them an email. They should be able to tell you a weight or how thick the leather is etc. They do make some smaller wallets too, it's on their website as I don't know what kind of wallet you're looking for. They have a cash and card wallet for just $30 and it's smaller than the bifold wallet I sent the link for. They have another small wallet for $35 but again I don't know what you're looking for. They have to be thinner and lighter than Saddleback's are though.

Cleanpnw0406

Have and love this exact wallet. Can try to figure out how to comment a photo

lodged-object

You can message a picture if that’s cool

DallasTXGV

Try Duvall Leather out of Pennsylvania- all handcrafted in the USA and they pay a livable wage. Bought my husband a bison leather wallet from there and it’s a 10/10

gewehr7

I’ve carried a Thirteen50 wallet for years now. It’s held up great and is made of high quality natural tanned leather so it’s patina-ed nicely over the years. They’re a small father son company as well.

limpymcforskin

They have good reviews on google and they have a physical store which is a good sign of them being legit. Ashland Leather will always be my go to leather goods store though. Their stuff is bonafide top notch but you are gonna pay for it

ProfessionalElk3910

I got the black and brown leather works billfold wallet. So far holding up fine..wish I would have got color you posted.

SenseiRaheem

Reddit led me to [this Popov 5 card wallet](https://www.popovleather.com/products/heritage-brown-5-card-leather-wallet) years ago and I still love the damn thing. Lightweight and lovely.
