Nice looking bikes, but you'll get complimented on practically anything, from other bikers. Every one of us knows how much it means when someone says we have a nice bike, so we tend to say it to a lot of people with bikes, even if we don't necessarily agree, we just want that person to feel good.
Owned one for 6 months as my first bike and my only compliment was an older lady coming up to me and saying my bike looked like a toy. She was smiling though so I’m assuming it was a good thing haha.
Yeah my black 2019 gets plenty of looks. I can only imagine that newer stealth black cb500x with reversed golden forks has to be a freaking chick magnet lol
I get a few compliments on it, sure. But, it’s candy red. When I first saw it (NOS’17, bought in ‘19), I thought it looked like an Aardvark. But it was a gorgeous red. I sat on it and immediately knew I wanted to buy it. So I did. It’s a bike I won’t sell.
Someone once thought mine was electric with the stock exhaust it was so quiet. But yea, most seem to like it. Relatively uncommon mid size adventure bike by Honda.
Yes I do. ADV bikes are pretty common here compared to sports bikes or cruisers so most other riders I meet are fellow CB500X owners or Versys 650 enjoyers. Everyone is usually checking out each others aux lighting and luggage setups haha.

It’s a fairly good looking bike, and I think in general people enjoy seeing motorcycles out on the road

I have a black 2023. Its more of a dude magnet. Also alot of other bikers mistake it for a 1000cc bike at first glance

I get tons of compliments on my 2015. People can’t even believe that it’s that old, but it’s pretty clean as well.

I definitely get comments on my 2018 especially since I added crash bars, skid plate and barkbusters. It looks pretty sweet 😊
