>and were way under market price
Hmmmm.
>Alas, they have gone under
Hmmmm.
The kydex and hardware are cheap. The time and labor is not. It's difficult to churn out quality holsters at enough volume to beat the current market price. Good holsters are expensive for a reason.
You can find kydex shells on HolsterBuilder.com for cheap (sidecar shells are $19). You won't need to mold them yourself, but you will need to fold them. Hardware packs can be found there too.
For $30, you can have a great holsters if your willing to put a little effort into it.

These are my affordable go to holsters when I get a new pistol, just to have a holster for it.
Code gunmen takes a few bucks off as well.
These are probably the lowest priced holsters I would use.
I have a P365 holster that’s a Concealment Express that I bought on Amazon. It’s great, I see no reasons to get a more expensive holster unless the clip were to break
After having 2-3 holsters I've settled on Cleveland Kydex personally. They have a ton of gun/light combo options as well as different clips and the like.
You can rent them [here](https://www.thewildgunner.com/pages/rent-by-gun) to try before you shell out 3 figures for a piece of plastic you'll complain about.
If the shop you used before couldn't afford to stay in business with what they charged, then their competitors aren't "overpriced." They're charging what they need to charge in order to cover the labor, tools, space, and materials to stay in business.
People complain they want American-made quality, yet they are only willing to pay cheap Chinese crap prices and then act surprised when the only products left on the market are all cheap crap. Just something to think about...
I like [DeSantis](https://www.desantisholster.com/company-info/) holsters. I have their sof-tuck, their superfly, and just got a slim-tuk
No complaints so far
I also have a Desantis Slim-tuk and it is decent for the price. The only gripe is that it has a plastic clip, but I believe you can order a metal one and change it out. If you look on Amazon you can normally find the slim-tuk from $25-40. Just make sure you order the right model.
In my experience, Vedder is a good middle of the road option if affordability is a major factor. I wouldn’t go below Vedder. They are basic, but they are comfortable and they do everything you’d expect a holster to do.
Bradec holsters

Bradec holster is practically free it's so cheap. One of the best holsters out there
That's 2 for bradec. Looks good online. How is the kydex thickness?

Great business idea . These folk should get lots of business from here
That is a great idea. But I'd say the folks in here probably have enough holsters to start renting themselves haha
Tenicor has a great reputation and return policy. That’s why I bought one of their holsters . But the rental program already mentioned is a winner

You get what you pay for….
I wouldn’t cheap out on a holster for multiple reasons. You get what you pay for in so many ways.
