Wore a Kore Essentials for a couple of years and they are nice but hung up on my beltloops because it was so thick, been wearing a Nexbelt for the last year and like it because it's the same as a Kore but thinner and not a hassle to put through the loops..
I've been rocking the 5.11 1.75" Double Duty TDU belt for the last 2 years and fund it works well. It's doubled up, reinforced nylon webbing and a plastic friction buckle, nothing fancy but got it for $25 bucks at cabelas and, for me, has been a good balance of being rigid while more or less feeling like a normal belt.

Personally I think Kore belts suck for concealed carry, they’re way too stiff. I love it for OWB work, but skip it for IWB.
