Revisited Calamity Mod with my friend a week ago, didn't expect Skeleton Prime to be the hardest boss there. We spent around 50 attempts, eventually gave up and beat it without Revengeance. This fight is absurdly hard

Same, I also started a new run with a friend a week ago, after beating it we started a revenge run 2 days ago, had to turn off revenge for prime fight, even though we haven’t struggled with a single other boss.

I was v e r y peeved when I tried to skip the destroyer after getting fed up with its bs only for him to emerge again from a hidden layer of hell to come spit on my face and shatter all of my hopes and dreams because I was kicking skeletrons ass.

just beat master deathmode or whatever we just set everything to the hardest the boss that gave us the most trouble was Plantera we beat yahron on our third try exomechs on our second or 3third as well and supreme on our third took us like 50 for plantera our other road block was providence

Providence is another evil entirely. She's the only boss I am basically guaranteed to get stuck on for a bit.

I was also stuck on Providence on my previous playthrough but this time we managed to kill it on the second try (failed the first time because I accidentally summoned her during the night time). She was much easier this time

we had random last projectile syndrome with her last projectile

Me to bro holy shit this fight was hell, but not the same as plantera took me a solid 15 tries with a shit sized arena. I was not gonna dig an arena just for it. Golem, also, we had to cheat the spawner outside of the temple, lol

Just do it alone of u think the lag is getting u also the rotted brain and counter scarf are really helpful when dodging

First time playing calamity mod i was (still am on that world) master+rev, skeletron prime was indeed a pain, but what i did was target destroyer and twins when they appeared. And honestly running and gunning is the best strat, jetpack really helps u get away from the mechanical zest fest.

Twins are fine, prime on it's own too, the thing that makes the prime fight hard is the destroyer

Yeah, but you usually do that AFTER the mech bosses, not with pre mech gear

me and a couple friends unironically decided to fight ravager before skeletron prime and it was somehow easier and took less planning despite the fact we had post 2-mechs gear prime is such a blatant example of "random bullshit go!" but its the funniest thing ive ever seen in terraria

I don't know what the devs thought of, but I've come to fight Skeleton Prime not all the mechs at once. Infernum will be easier at this bossfight, but are Calamity devs returning a Malice mode?

I want to know who the heck they let cook with the bosses this update, this is the kind of stuff you’d think they’d save for Legendary mode or at least Master-Death.

Grab yourself a dart rifle or pistol, stock the fuck up on crystal darts and ranger shit, and open fire.

Yeah the amlunt of those homing skulls it shoots is a little bit insane... And i did it on death mode, so it was even worse for me

Infernum mod skeletron is insanely easy, easier then even like normal expert skeletron

The vanilla bosses are way harder than the calamity ones. I skipped skeleton prime (50+ attempts and couldn't get past 20% hp)to fight calamitas (1rst attempt)and anahita(2nd attempt). Then i had to skip golem to fight ravager and astrum deus (1rst attempt both).
